A few months ago my cat, Patricio, became very ill. He couldn't eat, it seemed that every time he would try to he'd get the urge to vomit. So of course I took him to the vet and they gave him some antibiotics, the vet suspected he had parasites... He recommended a treatment and after following through for a couple of days he appeared to be healthy. He still continued to have some problems with hairballs and such but nothing serious.

A couple of days ago I was petting him and I noticed he had some lumps in his stomach. It really concerned me. I don't know how long they've been there for I don't continuously and responsibly check him for things like these. I'm concerned as to what it can be. I'm going to take him to the vet on Saturday but that's a few days away from now and I'm desperate. I need some advice, opinions, suggestions.

Some have told me that they're most likely parasites, while others tell me it might be cancer.

I have 16 platy fry that are 1 1/2 months old and approx. 1/2" long. When can they be introduced with larger fish in the main tank? Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

I bought a betta a couple of weeks ago and he ate every single day until I changed his bowls water after the first week. He has not ate for almost 3 days. He is still very active and swims around but he just won't eat. He grabs the food but spits it out. When I did the water change I added 2 small silk plants and he likes to hang out by one of them. Could he be stressed from the changes??? Should I remove one of the plants?

Disclaimer: I DON"T have a dog, just curious what people will answer. Hypothetical question: What would you do if you had a dog that growled at your child. And you had this dog for several years and were attached to it. Would you get rid of the dog or would you keep the dog and just keep the child away from it?

I'm thinking about switching to a hackamore and starting back at step one with my horse because he's not progressing and I'm going to go ahead and admit that I think I may have pushed him too hard and too fast.

So knowing that, I want to switch him to a hackamore and start his training completely over. I've heard of both the side pull hackamore and a bosal, but I'm unsure of which to use. My friend uses a bosal and it works really well for her, but I've heard of more people using a side pull hackamore for english. I ride english so I'm wondering which I should use.

Any reasonable suggestion or response will be considered, but I don't want someone that doesn't know what they're talking about or replying with a article from Wikipedia. I would like real opinions and answers.

Well, I was watching "Homeward Bound" the other night, and "Homeward Bound 2", and I noticed that they had really good editting, or there was quite a bit of animal cruelty in a movie. For example, in the first movie, Shadow the golden retriever falls in a pit and is limping at the end of the movie, Sassy the cat almost drowns in turbulent water and goes down a waterfall, and Chance gets hit in the nose by a porcupine. In the second movie I don't remember this one as well, but the "bully" dogs get flowerpots dropped on their heads and Shadow and the bully dogs really get into mean looking fights like they could kill each other. I don't know if this is editted, or if the dogs are trained really well, or what, but I would just like to know your opinion on if this is animal cruelty in movies.

they live shorter lives with various physical problems and generally arent as intelligent as mixed bred dogs,there seems something cruel in this,especially as most of us dont use them for anything else than pets
