A few months ago my cat, Patricio, became very ill. He couldn't eat, it seemed that every time he would try to he'd get the urge to vomit. So of course I took him to the vet and they gave him some antibiotics, the vet suspected he had parasites... He recommended a treatment and after following through for a couple of days he appeared to be healthy. He still continued to have some problems with hairballs and such but nothing serious.

A couple of days ago I was petting him and I noticed he had some lumps in his stomach. It really concerned me. I don't know how long they've been there for I don't continuously and responsibly check him for things like these. I'm concerned as to what it can be. I'm going to take him to the vet on Saturday but that's a few days away from now and I'm desperate. I need some advice, opinions, suggestions.

Some have told me that they're most likely parasites, while others tell me it might be cancer.

Much appreciation in advance.

Dear friend of animals, please take your cat to the vet. I had 3 dogs I was always feeling these lumps and I would have them removed and I was always lucky, they were always fatty tumors. within a 10 month period I lost 2 dogs to cancer and was in process of having one in chemo. Cancerous tumors can be quite painful and make them very sick. Do the right thing for your kitty. At least try. My dogs always kept me 3 dog poor now I have just 1. I lost my other 2 best friends.

My cat was stinged on the nose by a bee, and he was allregic, so the vemon found the weakest part in his body and attacked, leaving a bump on his stomach which got bigger and bigger until it poped. He might be allgeric to something and is just reacting. If this is the case, he should be fine, mine was. But it's important that you keep the appointment, you never can be sure with pet medical advice from people online! Good Luck!

well yes it could be cancer or also just cysts that are non cancerous animals get these, even bumps that are on their back and chest, i would definatly suggest the vet but they could just be cysts or still more parasites and even if the cat feels better give the medicine until it is gone good luck i hope for the best

I'm glad you're going to be taking him to the vet soon. The lumps may be harmless, but with the history you have detailed, I would worry about lymphoma.

Let us know what the vet says.
