My cockatiels laid 4 eggs. The baby cockatiels are 5 weeks old now and they are out of the nestbox. The parents are now mating( they mated twice in 2days) and the male goes in the nestbox and so does the female. The male whistles from inside the nestbox. They still feed the babies and the babies are starting to eat by them selves but still the parents feed them. Are they going to lay another clutch soon? and will it be ok if she lays another clutch? (It's only her second clutch in a year) and when will they lay the clutch?

my kitten was recently sick and had to have an IV. Since the IV he has stopped drinking water. Now his litter box habits have changed although he has been eating. Can IV cause this to happen? How long can a kitten be ok without using his liter box? I have started giving him water with a dropper. He was also spayed a week ago Wednesday.

i was over the field yesterday, with my border collie and my 8 yr old son when we met a women with a very BIG doberman, anyway got to talking dogs started to play etc (both dogs off lead)., BUT when my son went to smooth the doberman the owner asked him not to because the dog hates children (ok dogs have thier dislikes), but when i asked the owner why she did not have muzzle on the dog obviously knowing children are a problem for him she got on her high horse and walked away. Now i love to see dogs having off the lead exercise but if you know your dog has a problem surely prevention is better than cure. if her dog attacked a child who should be put to sleep the owner or the dog. I know what i think!!!

Owners of cats don't complain having their pets dispose of their waste in the home, why shouldnt dog owners respect their neighbors by keeping the public streets clean?

My Norweigan Elkhound puppy Sky, is 3 months old. I never had a puppy before, normally I have cats. I had to bring her in because there is a snake in the neighborhood and it bit her brothers and sisters and she was the only puppy to survive. I brought her in Tuesday, January 23, 2007 and she was really sad and uncomfortable. I understand she is scared and misses her mom. I try really hard to get her to excersice because now all she wants to do is be in my room. Everytime she gets scared she tends to pee unintentionally everywhere. I don't want anything bad happening to her so if someone can maybe give me some guidelines on what to do, it will be a really great help and I will appriciate it so much. I want Sky to get a second chance but how can I do that If I don't know how to communicate with her?

My lab mix is 8 months old, we already got him fixed. He walked him at least once a week as time does not allow more since it gets dark early now.

He is so hyper, he jumps and pulls me leaving him with little control.

... desk. It's about 5 gallons. How many fish can fit in that size and be healthy? I was hoping 4, one of which will be the resident gold fish. What other breeds of fish can survive together in a small environment like the one I am thinking of purchasing ?

I have an older cat - 16 - she has been checked out & vet says she is healthy. But she misses the litterbox & I can't let the carpet get peed on. But she has been my cat for 16 years - I don't want to get rid of her because of this!! I saw some pet diapers online - are they worth it?

She's a 2 yr old Chow Chow & she just got spayed yesterday (we picked her up this am), she's been very, very quiet & sleeping most of the day, she barely started drinking some water tonight & i've taken her out about 5-6 times but I want to make sure she'll be ok inside all night without going to pee. How can they hold it. It seems she's trained pretty good.

My female beta is covered in a 90% clear whitish gel. Yes, it is a female and we had her for about 3 weeks. I've had pet fish my whole life and they all live a long time(including male betas I've had). I changed her water today. It was de-chlorinated, and I didn’t mix in any of her old water. She is on a diet of Freeze dried blood-worms, and lives in a 1 gal. Tank with a fake plant. She is also swimming in a jerking monition because the gel is giving her problems moving. I put in an ick/parasite treatment about 5 min. ago. What should I do now?
