Make sure they have their own toys and dont allow the puppy to take the elders toys as he is trying to establish the role of top dog over him and as the elder was there first YOU have to make sure he is treated as top dog. Feed him first, Greet hom first etc and soon the younger will learn.

The dogs will work out the toys thing between them.
Our huskie was well trained to heel on or off the lead and I trained her so that I could walk with her and she would run to the end of the block and come back to me, never go in the street except at a heel with me. But if I ever let her out of my sight, like around the corner of the house, she would take off. I could still hear her so I knew she could hear me but sight is what counted to her. She could be blocks away and if I saw her and she could see me, she would obey. I never was able to break her of taking off if I lost sight of her. She would also climb to the top of a ceiling height bookcase to get chocolate. Probably the smartest dog I ever owned, and fun, but not the easiest to live with. Spend a lot of time on training while your pup is young! Check out "dragonfly llamas" web site. Great dog training tips.

Beware,,huskies love to run,,,may run & run & run away.
They are excellent dogs tho,,I own one.A fenced yard would be ideal.

puppy needs to learn to surrender his toys - if not to the older dog, than he must do so to you - you are the boss of this pack, and you need to establish that asap!

Please don't think about letting your Husky off the lead.
