I have one that I've had for about 8-10 months, and we've tried feeding him feeder fish and right now, we're trying Reptomin floating pellets... but for some reason he doesn't seem like he's eating them, or even interested in them (either fishies or pellets). What would some of you recommend feeding him?

Just so there's no question about this, he cannot be released back into the wild because of an injury.

My boyfriend and I just moved in together and got brand new leather furniture.. My cat scratched the furniture and it didn't go over well with the bf. We went to Petsmart and bought some nail protectors for her hind feet. They seem to work, but she chews one off and she scratched the furniture again.. My bf said he'll pay to get her hind feet declawed. (her front paws are declawed) Has anyone ever declawed the hind feet??

I received these fish from my Brother which he got from a friend his friend has had them for 5 years before giving them to him then he had them for 3 years and gave them to me They are rather large 5inches to 6 inches long could it be they are old fish? I don't know if there was another owner before his friend he doesn't know.He never asked to find out how old they are. Now I'm stuck with half dead fish.

The vet advised because of his age it may be best to just enjoy him while he is around instead of putting him through rigorous treatments that he may not even survive for his age. His kidneys are working a 10% capacity. As you can imagine, I'm completely devastated. Has anyone gone through this and wondering in anyone's opinion "how much time" before the inevitable. The vet thinks not much more time. When will I know the time is right to end his suffering.

My cat Ramsey has begun to pee on our clothes on a regular basis. He has been fixed and he is about 12 years old. I have gotten a new dog thatis 4 years old in the past couple months. I know I have to pay lots of attention to my cat now because of the new dog and I have. I am about ready to have him locked in a cage if this doesn't stop. He would do this if the littler box would not be cleaned or he could not get it to, but now he is doing this all the time. I need tips from people who know NO SMART AZZ ANSWERS, I really am not in the mood to read them I am frustrated!

Hello,
first off, let me say thank you for taking the time to read my question.
Okay, my dog is still a pup, and is about 9 months old.
She was found as a stray and the Humane Society took her in.
She's a very sweet dog, but I have noticed that she must have had a rough past.
Whenever I'm sitting down and then I unexpectedly get up and approach her, she darts off like a bat out of hell.
I've never overly scolded her then what was appropriate to do. Infact, I'm usually quite leiniant with her.
Also, whenever I use hand gestures at her, like snap fingers and tell her to go lay down, she runs away. She's terrified of gloves too.
Maybe someone slapped her in the face with a glove in her past?
Whenever I have gloves on, (it is winter-time) she snaps at my hand.

What can I do to make her feel at home and be more relaxed? She's a little tense and I would hate for her to associate her owner's previous corrective efforts with mine.

I only want what's best for her.

Any suggestions?

My molly had some babies (only 6, she has yet to release the rest) and I still have all 6 alive, they are still so little though? They are maybe a week old (7 days) and still look smaller than a tadpole.. I feed them the Baby Shrimp stuff and they really like it, keep them good and warm, but how long until they start growing and get bigger?

I need two of these for my dogs who are both over 100lbs. It seems that everyone sells the medium size, but no large. Does anyone know of a website or store in the Raleigh, NC area that sell these at a reasonable price? Thanks!!

I don't think it's anything sexually because he's only 10 weeks old (we're going to neuter/spay him at 6 months as our vet recommended), but he started to hump my arm when I rested it atop of my knee sitting down on the ground o.o I heard it's dominance...is it? He only did it twice in a short amount of time -- I gently slap him from behind and say "no." So I'm just wondering if he does it again -- is there a "best" or most effective way to stop this quickly?
(I also took his stuffed toy away)

I got my cat from the humane society 3 months ago. About 2 weeks after having her we took her to the vet for a cough, turns out she had a resperatory infection and tape worms. She was treated for both (a shot for the worms) and the cough went away. Lately I've noticed her eyes are running with clear liquid (it looks like tears) and then last night I found the 2 tape worms. She is an indoor 8 month old kitten with no contact with other animals...and shes been treated for fleas. Is it possible the tape worms never went away?
