I have grown up with poodles. About two years ago, we adopted a new male poodle after ours passed away from cancer. He is a sweet baby, but we are still having a problem with him peeing on everything. At first we thought, he was marking his territory, but he's the only animal in the house & has been since we got him. He has enough allergies & asthma (breathing problems) that the vet is afraid he will die if he is given anesthesia to be neutered, so I am looking for other ideas.

I am thinking of getting a shetland Sheepdog but am wondering what pros and cons they have. I live on 4 acres and have 2 horses so there is no shortage of space. Do they need to be exscercised every day and things like that.

I asked another question similar to this and you can look at it and answer it if you'd like but anyway, to reply to the answers of posters in my other question no my cat did not get into anti-freeze and no he does not have cancer. He just simply won't eat. He was given fluids at the vet and his last bag of fluids was given on Monday. We have also tried giving him baby food, tuna, turkey, cheese, and canned cat food and he won't even smell the food so I'm not sure if its possible but I think he can't smell anything which makes him not want to eat. Is this possible and what do I do? and also the question above, How long will a Cat live without eating? Any help is appreciated!

My cat is seemingly in heat, and I was wondering if we should worry about her bleeding? I've noticed that dogs may bleed at this time, but do cats?
Any help would be wonderful.

...We are taking her to a vet hopefully this week but does anyone have some clue what it is?
She is a 5 year old Ragdoll.
It's underneath her skin and about the size of a 5p peice. It's not hard but then again it's not soft either; It doesn't hurt her at all when we touch it.
We have 2 other male cats who she fights with a lot and my first thought that it might have been an infection from a scratch, could this be it?

Back in August a I bought a puppy from a breeder who bred a full bred Austrail Cattle Dog with a full bred Rottweiler. I paid quite a bit of money for her and when I got her she looked exactly like a Rottweiler and she was only going to grow to the size of 50lb's. She's gorgeous and the perfect size, her looks exactly like a Rottweiler, her facial features are a bit off and look her snout looks more like a cattle dog but aside from that she's just what I wanted. Is there any health issues I should be prepared for as she gets old and since she's been bred down will that be problematic as well?

I'm thinking about getting a pet bird. Which type is best if I want to eventually pet and kiss it? A Cockateil, parakeet, or other type?

I took my puppy to be neutered there. At lunch time I checked my cell phone for calls and saw I had 11 missed called from them. They said that they put my puppy under anesthesia but then found out that he's testicles haven't dropped. I called around to 3 other vets and spoke the vets personally they said it should be pretty visible( I always wondered why I couldn't see his testicle). My vet never mentioned it( I'm firing him, he's rude) Either way they are charging me $40 for the anesthesia. I know that stuff is expensive but he didnt get to benefit from it because of their mistake. They could do the two surgeries he would of needed today. Now I can't get it down for 2 more weeks.

So do you think its right for them to charge me for anesthesia for something other vets say it could of been visually examined? And when do testicles for dogs usually drop??

I own a cat and the people up the street from me let her in and feed her after repeated stern warnings. We are now considering police involvement. They call us all the time to tell us she is on their porch even if we just barely let her out cuz we allow her to go out. We have told them at least a hundred times. They don't listen. And lately they have let her in and called me to go and get her. They had me enter their house to get her. I am so upset. My cat is 8 years old. I don't know how much longer she has. They created this problem by letting her in a couple of years ago. If anyone knows please tell me.
