i have a chinchilla (for those who don't know, it a rodent. like a squarrel and a mouse mixed, i guess.) i resently got a rat terrier. he has gone up to my chinchillas cage about twice, and followed me while i carried him just once, but i think thats because hes curious.

i know its stereotypical of the breed, but do i need to be concerned with the 2 of them in one household?

i named my dog lena... i got her a couple of days ago at the local human,, an d i named her lena simone... she is a mix breed half lab half poddle!!!!!
Do you thinl that is a good name!!!

I have an Australian Cattle Dog. He was born Dec.22,2004. I notice my dog was limping. He was not puting any weight on his left hine leg. I took my dog to the vet and after x-rays and evaluation my vet stated: he has a rupture of the cranial cruciate ligament in his left rear leg. In lemen terms one of his ligaments in his rear left leg is torn. My vet. suggested that I take him to Mannases Veternary Hospital for surgery. The treatment is called (TPLO), Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy. The recovery is 8 weeks and the cost is $2,500.00. I would like another opinion before I decide what I am going to do. I need to know of a honest veternarian.

i have a female westie that is a year old and is not fixed... i thinking of buying a male Chihuahua will this consult in any conflicts with the dogs? if i get the Chihuahua fixed will they be humping every secound i dont want to get my westie fixed... thanks

Ok so I always debate with my mom about our "outdoor cat" who became an outdoor cat after peeing all over the place numerous times (now we have new carpet, can't handle it). The thing is very fat, we feed him, brush him, and he has a thick black coat....

But it is freezing outside, are we neglecting our cat? Do cats really have what it takes to survive the winter completely outdoors? I just walk out of the house in the morning and feel bad for him :( isssocold.

im not sure if she is pregnant or not.. her nipples have grown and her stomach has inlarged, she is showing some symptoms.....but my main concern is that she might be to young and she might not handle the pregnancy.. she is only about 6 months..if u would like to see a picture of her go here..

His legs go to the side, and he almost moves him self across the room using his butt. I think I know what it could be, maybe his butt glands need to be poped. Anymore ideas. He has been doing this for about two weeks, and im getting fed up of it, Im taking him to the vet next week.

I just got a pair of cocaktiel today. When i was at the shop, the female was healthy and not sick. But when i came back, she is fluffee up and shaking. I put her in a bigger cage with the male, but i dont want the male to get sick so thts why i temoprarily changed the cage. I wanted to know if she is going to lay an egg. Before taking the bird out, the breeder checked the nest box.there were 5 eggs. He doesnt know when she layed the eggs. I wanted to know if her appearance looks as if she is going to lay an egg. PLZ help. Iz she going to lay an or iz she just sick?

I'm sorry if I sound stupid. I've never had a cat before. I just found Fonzie a couple of months ago and felt sorry for him living in that dumpster. Now that I've taken him in I want to take good care of him. The vet said he's maybe 3 years old. What games would he like? I got him these catnip mice and some feathery things. I'm 15,

I had my Green Iguana for 5 years now and it just broke a bone, The upper left shoulder has shattered i guess because i can hear it crumble while it moves.

It fell of my bed to the tile floor.

Does it require a Animal Hospital? Vet? How much would it cost for a cure? Allot? Would it die if not cures on time???

Please help guys and try to support me with allot of info.... please :( I would die for this iguana, i love him allot.....

I have been doing this for 2 months and I was told to "spray" the bio-wheel, and filter cartrige, I use the hose at the sink to spray these clean. If I can't use tap water... then what am I going to use?? How am I going to clean them??

In seating up a new 10 gal.~ Hexagon~ Tank.
Too Help with the cycling process peoriod.
How much Gravel or sand is needed to start with ?
I have a friend that has a tank already,
Should I ask her for some of her water ?
There is one thing that scares me, With using her water, is she is losing a couple fish a week. her water looks very clear not foggy @ all. I told her to get a kit to check the water, but when she says she is going to get a kit, she comes home with no kit and new fish, I told her she can take her water in to be checked.she says, She don't want to told she is doing anything wrong. So,
I give up. but, I want to do it right the first time. How much time should I give it before adding Fish ? ECT... ECT... Should, I let it filter before put adding fish. I look @ it like this I have the rest of my life, To start this up. I only want two fish and real plants. I need to best advice, I can get to do this.
Any good websites to look @ for advice?

I just got a new puppy. She's an 8 week old Shih Tzu. I also have another dog who is a 2 year old Peekapoo(male). He keeps trying to sniff her and get to know her but she keeps growling and trying to bite him. She gets really mean. With humans she's sweet,soft and cuddley but with him she's mean. Does anyone know how to deal with this?
