Mine only lets me brush her when I'm in the bathroom doing my own hair. I think that's mostly to annoy me. Try doing it when she's sleepy and too tired to fight.

I don't think many cats like to be brushed. Is the cat used to it from a young age? Is she a cat you are supposed to brush. i.e. a long-haired breed? Were you brushing her/him in the past and all of a sudden it's decided to bite?

Most cats do not like to be brushed this is normal. Start out brushing her every day jus ta little and in time they usually will get used to being brushed and allow you to.

She gets stimulated by the brushing and her energy comes up because of the better circulation and she bites the brush for play.

Does she bite when you're brushing a particular spot? If so, then feel around on her for any lumps or sore areas. She may be hurting somewhere.

If you can't any, then she just may need to get accustomed to being brushed (have you only started brushing her, or have you done it for awhile?).
