Yep its normal, they do this when in the breeding mood. If this is embarassing or a habit that you don't like, ways you can stop it is rearranging her cage, moving her into another part of the room, or reducing the amount of sunlight she is getting a day. More than ten hours of light will make them think that its breeding season. If you rearrange/move her cage, it will make her insecure of her "new" surroundings. Birds won't feel the need to mate when they are in "new" territory as they have to be very protective of their young, and don't want to lay eggs in this"new" and potentially "dangerous" place. It will at least buy you time!
Good luck!

Yep, very normal, even for the girl lovebirds. In fact, with the girl lovebirds it is said to stimulate egg laying, especially when there is no male.
Our lovebird was partial to rolled up nose tissue. A ball the size a little smaller than a golf ball was optimal for her. She would ride one nightly. It was fun to watch, kind of looked like she was dancing, but when it was over, she'd just fall over on her side for about 5 seconds and then get up like nothing ever happened.
Oh yeah, has your bird started shredding paper and sticking it under the tail? ;) Nest building... also normal. Enjoy.

He was probably having fun- my male and female cockatiel do it all the time. I am trying to breed them, and unfortunately, they do not do it to eachother :)
You have nothing to worry about with a boy- they can't lay eggs, so he is just having fun and no harm is done. If you don't want him doing it, you can change around his cage so he is less comfortable, or I use a spray bottle (usually after 1 spray, just the threat it enough). I use these methods for my female, you don't need to do anything for the male.

Totally normal. We had a bird once who if you weren't paying attention to him would walk down your arm and start doing it on your thumb! You'll have some explaining to do when you have houseguests though. Have fun!
