i have 6 cats. the pros are all the love and companionship they give me. in my opinion, this far outweighs the cons which would be litterboxes, cleaning up around the food bowls and not having any room to myself in my bed!! everytime i roll over, i think i'm gonna end up on one of them! i am very fortunate that all my cats get along, with the exception of Grampa Joe who is 13. he just tolerates the youngbloods and spends a lot of time in my bedroom ignoring them but they do know that he is the alpha cat.

Hi I have 7 cats :)
4 males and 3 females... I think for me the pros are endless.. Their amusing and lovable..They are playful and sometimes mischevious..
As for the cons.. I would have to say cleaning the litter boxes, which I do 4 times a day to try to prevent some of the odor..
I am looking for a way to elliminate this concern,.May end up buying a self cleaning litter box But they are exspensive.
Really , In my opinion, Cats are a joy and No con is too big not to enjoy their company .. :)

Same as with kids. You never regret having them. They raise our consciousness. They trouble us and tease us and test the very crux of our soul. I, personally could not live without them. Though, that really rude, gross thing they do with wiping their butts across a carpet, is just so unacceptable and barbarian. They know better and they do it just to tweak our sensibilities, I believe. It's just so deliberately vile.
