He is eating fine and doesn't appear to be depressed. He swims around, then lays under the heat lamp. There are two turtles in the tank. We believe both are males, but I don't know for sure. They are relatively small, about 2 inches across the shell. We have a painted turtle and a mississippi map turtle. Like I said, they are both acting fine, it just looks like the painted turtle's skin may be a little discolored, and poofy (for lack of a more descriptive term). His shell seems fine, it does look like it might be lifting up around the edges. If you can give me any information it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

my dog is like 4 years old. recently he has been throwing up everything he eats. he is still active but not as active. He also looks like he is loosen weight. i know he don't have parvo or anything like that. but can u just give me sum advice on what it can be before i take him to the vet? or wat i can do to make him better with out taken him to the vet.

I can never get a sight of them without them on top of eachother...there is *** all over my house and when friends and family come over they think its from me and my husband...its sooo embarassing!..well anyway, they are soo horny so i put my cat on birthcontrol but now she is having a period all over and i cant stop the blood flow through my house... I try to seperate them but they are jsut not happy liek that.. any other solutions?.. i cant see gettin rid of them they are the apple in my EyE!

I had 2 fantails and an albino loach. I noticed my loach's scales began to "fall off" or something...he died the next day. This also began to happen to my other fish. Thier scales seemed to be separating from their body, they also died shortly after. Anyone know what this is, how it happened, and how it could have been prevented?
I cleaned my water regularly and replaced filters on time.

My dog has not been able to eat in 2 days.. today she starte dvomitting .. 3 times as of 11/28/06 7:51 pm... it seems as she wants to go to the bathroom but is not able to. She is always happpy about going outside, but she looks so sad... she is 4 yrs old, a german shephard. The last food I can think of that might have made her sick, are the bones that my mother-in-law gave her after tahnksgiving.. wwhat can I do. I would like to knw your opinion please.. regardless, I will take her to the vet tomorrow morning.. please at least give me your diagnosis... should I be MORE than worried overnight?..

I have a female Dwarf Bunny, she is 3 months old and not spayed. She is not a "teen" yet so she is not "spraying". She uses her litter box usually but when she is out of the cage she hops up on my bed and pees on it. I've tried putting another litter box on the bed while she is out but she never uses it.

She does this maybe once or twice a week. We both only have 1 room to live in because I am in a college dorm room so I cant just put her in a different room.

What should I do?

i have a girl Kitty she is mostly white, and has orange and grey/black/brown markings on her. She is 4 months old and at first she would hide but slowly she has come out, I finallly got her to let me cuddle her. She is very playful, runs all over the place, and fast as lightening... My mother hates animals, my boyfriend is neutral about animals, and none of my friends are crazy about animals actually when I think about it, they almost all dont have any pets...but when I talk to them I always end up bringing animal as a topic...I always learn fascinating things about animals and Im so excited to share them with the people I love but they get annoyed...

My luohan fish (flower horn) is a great fish - v human in nature and will welcome us when we come back. He's down with swim bladder problem. lie on his side most of the time. eat little, gasping for air and has changed his color. try his best to swim when turned upright but after a few secs will have to lie down. Brought to vet who gave daily injections of methylcobalamin for 2 weeks. He said it's too late and is fatal. Now back home for rehab. Any one has suggestions and advice for help ? pls don't give answers like - ' don't u think he's dead ?' that's just silly and insensitive. Need real solutions in treating the nerve problem - apparently nerve supply to the swim bladder is damaged. would steroid injections help ? if so, what dose ? again, pls provide answers if you have solutions. thanks.
