Yo Jeff
This is one thing I know very well and I'm happy to say YES
aspirin is one medication that can be safely given to dogs that are in some pain and / or discomfort----be sure that it is low dose--preferably the baby type or cut the regular tablet of normal adult tablet down to one quarter tablet.....no more than three doses within 24 hours---

I have owned dogs for decades and on several occassions my vet has recommended this dosage and procedure---with extremely favorable results !!!

I am not sure about a 9 month old, but I do know you can give baby aspirin to a dog. A vet told me to give baby aspirin to my dog when he was hit by a car and was healing. He was perfectly fine.

I would check with a vet first, they'll tell you over the phone, but I don't think it would be a problem to give the puppy a half of one. My dog was only 1 year old when I was told to give him a full baby aspirin.

Cats on the other hand, CANNOT take aspirin.

Good luck.

Why do you want to give your pet a baby aspirin? If your dog is sick you should them him in to the vet. The way humans and animals react to meds are different. What if the hound has a reaction to the baby aspirin? Just take the dog in to the vet

It sounds to me like she has a territory difficulty. a lot of human beings think of the lads are the p.c.. leaders - yet maximum usually than no longer you will discover in family individuals canines it particularly is the female. She could be attempting to coach her supiorority or she could be feeling as though she has no area of her own. in case you took what she deemed as hers (the ball) and you haven't any longer regularly occurring properly which you are the alpha canines she will challange you. Take her to the vet to rule out any medical themes that would create aggressiveness and then watch her carefully whilst she interacts. Are the others stealing her nutrients, mattress, or toys? Does she get much less interest or much extra effects for the reason that she continues to be gaining understanding of and that they do no longer look to be? If it particularly is a habit difficulty and not a medical difficulty start up by retraining - exhibiting for sure you're in can charge - use time out for her aggressive moments - and fasten even though imbalance you come across. a solid coach can help. Your impressive to agonize concerning the youngsters yet canines have a lot of a similar thoughts human beings do coupled with natrual instinct. With time and correction of the priority she would be merely as large because of the fact the others.

I wouldn't ever give your animals people medicine unless your vet says it's OK. I know that Tylenol and Advil can both be poisonous to dogs and cats, but I don't know about baby aspirin. Animals have a much higher tolerance to pain than humans, so it may not be necessary to give your dog anything at all. When my cat's hip was broken he was limping around purring and acting pretty much like he normally did. The vet really stressed to NOT give him anything b/c the cat's tolerance to pain is not like a human's.

Thirty seconds on google and this is what I learned:
It's Keeshound (pronounced Kayz-hawnd).
It won't kill the dog, but it's best to see a vet rather than diagnosing on your own, especially with puppies. If I were you (or your friend) I would only give one baby aspirin and make an appt. with the vet. Read my source for more details.

NO HUMAN ASPRIN! the only safe human pain med that you can use in dogs is ascriptin. You can get it at walmart and places like that. CALL YOUR VET FOR DOSAGE INFO. I do not know what your dog weighs. No baby asprin or advil anything like that.
