Hi there...if her belly is distended (enlarged) this is indicative another medical problem perhaps such as a tumour--something life-threatening. A spayed cat cannot become pregnant because the vet removed the uterus and ovaries. Please consider ringing your vet as soon as possible to discuss your concerns. They will help you determine if the cat needs to come in to be evaluated.

If she has been spayed, she cannot get pregnant at any age. If she is an indoor cat, which she should be, she is probably over weight. I have 10 cats and all the ones over 12 years old are pretty chubby, they tend to get loose chubby bellies when they get older.

Since they remove the uterus when they spay a cat, that should not be a possibility. It could be a tumor, could be excess fat deposits, etc. Sounds like your vet should take a look to rule out serious issues.

No, not possible. Sounds like your cat needs to go to the vet to see what is going on. The cat may be diabetic, or have some other disease or illness.

If she's been spayed, she doesn't have a uterus, so she can't be pregnant.

If her stomach is distended, she may have a medical problem and needs to be seen by a vet. Don't delay - it could be a minor problem, or it could be very serious or life-threatening.

No way, they took out all her baby machine...unless your kitty is related to the Virgin Mary it's not gonna happen. This could be a medical emergency and you should get her to the vet!

could be a phantom pregnancy, my old dog had it when she got old. all the symptoms of a pregancy (lactating, increased eating, fattening up) but none of the actual giving birth.
take it to the vet though, you can never be too careful

That's posible but not very probable-maybe she should see a vet just in case it's something else.

there must be something else going on. TAKE her to the vet SOON. or in a rare case, yes, but only if they forgot to take something out.
