Well first of all cats do not bleed! dogs do, but it is called heat, they get it about every 6 months to a year, depending on the breed. As for making babies. It is genetically impossible.
So No there will be No cat-dogs. Just curious what kind of birth control is the cat on? The only one I am aware of is spay or neuter. Thats the sollution I am offering, get them fixed!! The blood flow you are talking about worries me slightly because that could be tearing happening when they are having sex. I hope it is not alot of blood, your cats health could be at risk.

I am assuming you are kidding when you stated you have the cat on birth control. If not, the cat maybe hemorrhaging from this and has to be taken to the vet's ASAP.
She may also be hemorrhaging due to the dog trying to mount her or even penetrating her. Again, take her to the vet ASAP!
The other part of this question has to be answered with a couple of questions:
Is your dog neutered? ? If not, get him done ASAP. This should help his "drive" calm down a bit. If he is neutered, is the cat spayed? Get her done, if not.
If you witness this behavior, make up a couple of deterrents and leave them around the house to stop this behavior when you see it. Get a couple of empty soda cans and put some rocks in the bottom of the can. Then tape the hole shut. When you see the behavior going on, immediately grab the can and give it one quick shake. The noise will make both animals look at you and generally stop what they were doing. Also get a few spray bottles, filled with water and spray the dog with it when he mounts her. You have to keep these things all around the house or it won't work. If you have to go hunting for them, the behavior will continue.
We find that the shake can works really well, but the water spray can also work equally as well. Try it, but get that cat checked out by a vet first.

I seriously doubt that even if the cat were to successfully get pregnant that it would still not make it through the entire course. The genetic make up of the two animals are completely different and must be able to share certain genetic traits in order to have a successful offspring. Now this is not to say that crossbreeding two animals is never successful. There is the instance of the Mule. The mule is an animal that has been crossbred between horse and donkey. Both are to different species but both have similar chromosome structures allowing for a successful (yet sterile) offspring. The mule will never be able to produce offspring. Knowing the extreme differences between canine and feline I HIGHLY doubt of any catdogs running around here.

well, you've got an interesting situation, but i am pretty sure that a dog can't impregnate a cat, or there'd probably be 'catdog's' (or dogcat's, if you prefer) all over the place. So you should be safe with taking your cat off of birth control, but you might think of getting your dog fixed and then taking a day to clean your house (no offense of course) really good.
Oh yeah, and fixing your dog, is only so it'll stop humping your cat, cuz like i said, i am pretty sure nothing will come of this relationship. LOL!

This is technically impossible for animals to do that they have to be in same animal group so dog and cat are two different animal groups thats just like saying a fish and a dog can breed...impossible!.

Creatures cannot have babies outside of their own species. A dog will do this with a cat because they think everything is a dog like them, so they don't know it's wrong. The only way to stop it is to get them both fixed, which I REALLY suggest that you do. It'll be about $60 each to get it done, so PLEASE do yourself and the animals a favor, and get it done.

1) Cats and dogs cannot mate with each other, but dogs might want to hump cats.
2) Cats don't have periods.
Wow.

**************GET THEM BOTH FIXED! ****************
My cat and dog (both male) like to hump on each other also, and they are both fixed. This is more of a dominance issue, though, than a sexual one. If you get your animals fixed, it will reduce their sex drive. And, no, they won't have a cat-dog. Two separate species cannot reproduce with each other.
