I JUST GOT A NEW PUPPY, AND HE IS A BLACK LAB/SPRINGER MIX. WHEN I LEAVE FOR WORK HE WHIMPERS AND CRYS THE WHOLE TIME I AM GONE, HE IS ONLY LEFT ALONE FOR 4 HOURS AT A TIME. MY DOWNSTAIRS NEIGHBORS ARE THE ONES WHO INFORMED ME OF HIS CRYING. I NEED HELP TO STOP THIS PROBLEM ASAP, ALSO HE HAS ALL KINDS OF TOYS AND BONES TO CHEW ON, WHAT WILL MAKE HIM STOP!?!? My mum has a male cat 6 years old. she just rang telling me he's had a nose bleed. she said it looks like the blood is coming from his nostrils,and its not a scratch or anything. also she said he was coughing, like hes got something in his throat. does any1 know what this could mean. its probably something and nothing, but she's really worried!

I brought my kitten home from the vets last week, and within a few days we had fleas. Only a few, so I treated him with Advantage. Now he's not getting bitten, but I am! It's getting worse every day. I'm their only sorce of food! I've got over 40 bites from my chest to my waist. It's horrible! I've vacumed, but I live in a studio so there area alot of places with heavy furniture that I can't get to. I'm washing all my bedding today, so hopefully that will help. Are there any alternatives besides fumigating? I don't want to do this because my cat is indoor only and there is nowhere for me to put him while this is done to the house. I need an option I can do while my kitten is in the house that won't harm him. Help!??! I'm sick and tired of being flea food!!!

My next door neighbor has a pit bull pup that they have had for about 5 months now. They said he was 2 months when they got him. I see my neighbor's 11 year old daughter walking from time to time and the dog looked pretty thin to me and didn't look like he was growing at all, so i saw the girl again recently and she had the pup with her and i noticed it's coat looked very bad so i asked the girl was the dog sick or anything and she said yes, he has ticks. So i got some info about ticks off the internet and gave it to the girl to give to her mom and she did. So i saw the mom a little bit after and asked her did she take the dog to see a vet and she told me yes. That was a month ago and to me this dog still looks underweight and sick. So i saw the daughter the other day and she told me that her mom never took the dog to the vet cause they couldn't afford it. So mom lied to me. I want to offer to pay for this myself cause i love dogs and this dog needs to see a vet. Do you think i should?

My pet rabbit licks my han and arm whenever I pet him and say hi to him. Does anyone know if this is a good or friendly thing? He's a nice calm rabbit so I'm assuming he doesn't want to eat me or something. I'm just not sure if it means the same thing as when, say, dogs lick you.

I am looking for reputable breeders of toy maltepoos, yorkiepoos, or small cockapoos (up to 10 pounds) in Bay Area. After much research these are the types of dogs that seem to fit best to our life-style... I have already visited all local shelters over the past few months and researched adoption sides online but wasn't lucky in my search. Any recommendations with regards to breeders???

I know there is the vet, frontline,sergents and hartz and lord knows what else, but the prices are crazy. What did they do in the old days, there use to be some blue stinky stuff you pour in bath water and dip the dog in it.I rub garlic oil on my dog but it ran me off besides the fleas.I only let him out to use the potty. HELP!!!

i need to put med. in my dogs ears but he wont let me he will growl and snap and wiggle untill he gets loose the vet said i need to find out a way to do this so his infection will go away but how?? does anyone have any tips on how to do this without him getting loose or bitten someone he is a pug so puting a strap on his face is out of the question

My sister is moving to a new house and she's not taking her cat. I feel so bad because I care about this cat, and my younger nieces care about her, too, but I doubt they'll be as affected when she's gone.

They got the cat from a shelter or somewhere a few years ago. They're moving into a house they've built in a few weeks, and the cat has absolutely no where to go. I would love to take her but the place I live doesn't allow animals and my mother is severely allergic to her. I'm just afraid that no one will take her because she's an older cat. I don't want her to be killed and I feel like that's what will happen if they take her to a shelter. I also don't want them to just let her roam the streets.

I know this isn't my cat so I have no choice in the matter but I wrong for caring? Is there a place she can go where she won't be harmed? She's such a sweet cat. I normally dislike cats so in order for me to care so much says a lot about her. I just want her safe.

Any suggestions?
