Hello, I have a bunny and a cat... but I live in two different homes. My bunny is with me in my college residence and my cat is at my permanant home. For thanksgiving, my bunny and cat are going to meet for the first time. I will be supervising when my bunny is out of the cage. My Cat is very lazy and basically just lies there all day. (she wont chase a mouse if it's in front of her) My bunny is new, curious and friendly. She does not bite. Do you think they will get a long?

I have a potted ivy in my house, and every time I leave, my cat goes and lays in it, on top of the plant. I can't get her to stop, and I'm afraid she's going to squash and kill the plant. Any ideas on how to make her stop? Is there something I could put in the pot that would make her not like the smell?

I have a 14 week old female pug. We have started taking her out to go to the bathroom and use the phrase, "Potty Out" for it.
I know she is a bit young to start housebreaking, but we figured why not get a start.
How long does it normally take? I know every breed and every dog is different, but is there a general consensus on time frames?
Any other advice on it would be welcome too. We do use a crate also.

I have 2 aquariums, my big tank, 33 gallons is cold water and my 20 gallon tank is warm water. Any suggestions what other possibilities I can put in with my goldfish? Also what sorts of warm water fish are hardy enough for my smaller tank? Any help would be great.

How does it work? A person has been bit by a dog that has just previously bit another dog but is fine in his own environment. Now once called, what do animal control do? What if the person wants to press charges, or have the dog put down? What happens then?

I am fostering a stray dog (a Pomeranian, 12-15 years old) for the local humane society. Today she finishes her course of anitbiotics but is still coughing. She will be going back to the vet next week for examination, spaying and dental work.

Does anyone know any natural remedies or have tips to help kennel cough?

Jack Russell ***** puppy, 10 weeks old, in process of trying to toilet train but she is not "grasping" the concept very well!!! Well actually not at all! she is a messy puppy, she pee's and poo's on her bed and sometimes lies in it. She is in a puppy cage at night in my kitchen with loads of room as she is so small but she still persists on messing on the bed?!! My other Jack Russell is a dog, he is now 4, he was extremely quick to learn the "you poo outside ONLY" concept! He didnt do gross things like do it in his bed either. Are bitches generally messier? Do they take longer to train? Is she just thick?! Any advice on how I can stop her doing this would be greatly appreciated!!! She stinks, the house stinks, her bed is washed daily!! Doing my head in! No smart/sarcastic answers please this is a desperately smelly gross habit I need help curing!

My cat has been "blocked" several times and the vet is recomending a surgery that will esentially make him more like a female. Do you know anything about the outcome? Is it fair to put the cat through this?

We have a male beagle about 3 months old. He squats to pee like a female. I know that puppies do this and it's normal. I just want to know when he is going to start lifting his leg like a big guy. Is this something they learn from other dogs, cause he's not really around other dogs. Will he just grow out of it? Or is this something that some males just do - a personal preference. Or, maybe, just a beagle preference.

Hi. my mom mentioned the other day she thinks our cats have fleas. then my brother said yesterday that they do. know they do have scabs and stuff around there neck. but i think its from them fighting because they do fight pretty intensly. but maybe its not. how can you really tell if they have fleas or not? they have a thick long coat so its hard to get down the the roots and skin to see.and when you do its about the size of a pretty sharp pencil.(of skin showing) so Fleas or no fleas. and if they are what treatments are out there that are hightly affective to cats?? any help well be appriciated thanks>!@

Will a good horse have better off spring than an average horse? Do they think the same about people and doesn't it lead to inter-breeding?
