Hey there...
I am looking for reputable breeders of toy maltepoos, yorkiepoos, or small cockapoos (up to 10 pounds) in Bay Area. After much research these are the types of dogs that seem to fit best to our life-style... I have already visited all local shelters over the past few months and researched adoption sides online but wasn't lucky in my search. Any recommendations with regards to breeders???

Of those breeds, the only *reputable* breeder you will find is cockapoos.. These might surprise you! > http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=7047086

All are just what you are looking for! Wow!
Here are 3 breeders near you> http://www.doggies.com/Cockapoo/San_Francisco

the cockapoo is being developed as a recognized breed..the Maltipoo, Yorkiepoo, are nearly always bred by puppy mill or backyard breeders who do no genetic testing, and the parents are rarely AKC..but usually a puppy mill registry...Reputable breeders have a love affair with the breed they raise, and strive to improve and maintain the breed according to recognized breed standards..the mixed breed breeders begin with inferior breeding stock, usually that can't be registered, and produce more heartaches than healthy puppies..
I work at a doggy day care, and have to medicate nearly all of the designer dogs, as they mature..virtually all of them are on heart meds, insulin, or thyroid, asthma control, or special food for allergies..

Check with vets in the area. Also, check for reputable breeders on the AKC website. Pups that will be ready by mid July should already be advertised. A good breeder will expect you to see the litter and sire, dam. Good luck!

What is wrong with adopting a dog from a shelter? There are so many that need good homes. Plus alot of times you will get dogs that are inbred and stupid and hyper from a breeder. Keep trying the shelters and Humane Society before you buy from a pet shop or breeder.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7Kq

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.
