My dog has seizures and chicken or beef is not recommend.
Anything with fruits or vegetables, lamb or turkey are fine. Natural dog treats are just too expensive to buy all the time.

My cat is 3yrs old and he has been sneezing a little the last 2 days, he has never been sick with a cold, there is no runny nose or cough. His eye is somewhat closed so im not sure if he has a cold. He is eating well , does anyone know what this could be? thanks

We took our pup to the vet and as it turns out the vet thinks that he might have distemper. He is a 9wk old english mastiff. The vet is giving him some medication that seems to be helping, but if he doesn't show any sign of progression he says we should let him go. We've only had him for two weeks and we love him very much. We need any kind of advice or information we can get to save Maximus. I'm sure the vet who is currently attending him is knowledgable, but getting a second opinion wouldn't hurt. Personal experience would help too.

I have a maltese/poodle who I love, but I feel bad because both me and my fiance work most of the day so she is alone for a good 8 hours a day. She is really good when we are gone (rarely any accidents), but I want to get another dog to keep her company. And also I just want another dog in general. I don't want another puppy, but if I get another dog I doubt it will be as good as she is about staying home that long. Is there any type of dog that is good for long periods of time as long as there is another dog with them? I know this is a weird question, because most people would say it is bad to leave a dog that long alone, but my fiance stops home sometimes to take her out. Just want some opinions..thanks!!

Lately, my cat has been acting peculiar, especially with her potty habits. She's peed and pooped a few times outside of the litter box. I tried to find a solution, and found that whenever she hears me going down the steps to our basement to scoop her box, she races down there to use it. It seems she waits for me to go down before using the box. I didn't move her box to a new location, and she had been using it regularly. This is a fairly recent thing.

I use the flushable Arm n Hammer stuff. it works great and you just flush it down the toilet. It can't get any easier than that! What kind do you use?

As a RN, I had heard of the rumor that cocoa has a toxin deadly to cats and dog, however it depends on the size of the animal, and amount ingested. A final detail that I had heard is that its more toxic to cats, than dogs.

my rabbit seems to get them once in a while. one day he has them another he doesnt. i was thinking, could it be the food he eats? but i give him the right nutriscious food from the pet stores, the everyday fresh carrots, the lettuce and hay, including fresh water every morning, so i couldnt imagine what was going wrong.
i also thought, could the rabbit be stressed? he is the only pet in the house, he is out of his cage the entire time, he goes in as he pleases, and as usual he prefers being inside than outside of the house.

what am i doing wrong? or what is the cause of this little rabbit's split-end whiskers?

I live with my boyfriend in a small apartment in miami, and am looking for a new pet. I used to have a miniature snauzer but he was too much work and I didn't have enough time for him. I would like something sweet to keep me company when my boyfriend is working late; and something that I can dedicate some time too, without being too hyper-active and attentiong starved. I was looking into hedge hogs but I don't know where to find them or even if they would make a good pet.
