Take a look at this link, it will show you what exactly can happen if you mix two *very* different breeds. This link is not a wind up, it's a 100% genuine rescue site, and the dog is 100% genuine too. So for all of you who say a large and small breed cannot mate together...think on!

I wouldn't say ALL dogs can be bred together as it would be impossible for an male Irish Wolfhound to breed with a Chihuahua, or any other breeds of dogs that are very different as far as size goes.

All at the same time? I would hope not, LOL. Some dogs are to big for the female and can actually hurt her. Even if she does get pregnant with a larger dog, she might have to be watched closely, because she will most likely have to have a C-section. The puppies will be to big to have them naturally. Get this....I have heard cats breeding with rabbits and having a mix of cat and rabbit. I do not know if they are healthy or not.....I saw them on Animal Planet, or Discovery channel. I haven't seen them anymore. Just that one time. I would hope no-one would (ever) breed a dog too large for the female, because its inhumane. It could kill her.

Most dogs can breed together although, as stated above I wouldn't like to see a big dog having a go at a little *****! OOhhh, the pain or the thought!

That's where the breed Heinz 57 comes from, you can't beat them!

Yes..but..if the male is to large a breed the big pups can kill a small female..also a drawback you sometimes have to place the small male on a box so he can reach her or vs verse. But answer is yes any dog or cat or horse or cow or most all animals can be interbreed

Yes, of course they can. This is the reason that there are so many mixed breed dogs sitting on Death Row in shelters and pounds and hoping to be adopted before their time runs out *sniff*

Yes any dog can breed with another they are like humans as long as there is a male and a female they can do as they please but it is a bad idea to cross breed you can get a few problems if you are looking at it make sure mum and dad have had all their checks and clearances done

In principle yes, however if a very large dog tried to mate with a very small dog it may not do doable because of the size difference.

All the dogs are having total number of 78 chromosomes. So you can cross any breed of dog with other. Only thing- height matters!! (For e.g.- you can't breed spitz with dane.) But you can artificially inseminate them. In addition to this if you inseminate with Dane's semen in Spitz, it won't have the carrying capacity for the danes embryo. The spitz may succumb to death due to Dystocia.
