ok well this is the second time in 5 days my dog has attacked the tile floor and carpet, and its to the point where my dad is considering giving her away so i need to prevent it. she is over a year old now and we have had her all of it but 2 months, so she knows the rules, and when someone is around shes the perfect dog, but whens shes left alone she does that. minus those two times, shes has only done minor things in the past, nothing in comparison to this. so please i need help to figure out how to fix the solution. by attacking the carpet and tile floor i mean she tore some of the tiles off and ripped a nice long line of the carpet up. thanks.

My dog is a 3 year old australian shepherd mix. She is never full and in one sitting she has eaten 2 pounds of fig newtons... she never gets full and always wants more. Sometimes she is aggressive about it too. We have trained her to stay out of the kitchen and not to beg but she is able to just run upstairs and get food from my boyfriends parents whenever she wants to . So I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions? Help she is getting FAT!!

What can we do to deter her from ruining the furniture and wallpaper!
We have tried shouting at her, squirting her with water, putting tinfoil over the chairs and stuff, ignoring her, we have a very sutible scratching post thats she does use aswell as the wallpaper etc, we also have other things for her to scratch which she also uses, she has plenty of toys for her to play with, and she goes out often (but only on a leash, as we live VERY close to a busy main road, we dont want her to get run over!) and we play with her too, but she just walks away after a while.

Please help what can we do!!!! Shes scratching us out of house and home!

My fish are all O.K, there tropical and are real strong. At one point i was cleaning my tank with hot water, and then white spurs or white color was apearing on my tank. I tried my best to clean it but it wont come off, i cant even anything from there ( i didnt put them back in). If you know any soap or liquids to put on it, and make it "see-through" again, please let me know. Thank you

My cat keeps sucking her arm, flexing her claws like she's breastfeeding when she's hungry. She's 5 months old and eats normal food. We used to think the sucking was cute, but now it's annoying and her claws are sharp.nHow do I get her to stop?

I walked by this neighbor's house two times with my dog. One time we were actually on the other side of the street. A small dog come out and tried to bite my dog in both times. Both times, the owner's kids just call the dog's name and the dog never responded to the kids. I decided to be a good neighbor instead of calling the animal control. I went by the house. The guy said that he doesn't know whose dog that was. Then a kid come by with that small dog so I told her to keep her dog on leash instead of running around the front yard attacking other dogs. The guy said that it's ok to let dogs run around and his dogs got bit and he got bit before. It's not a big deal. He said that I am a bad neighbor b/c I complained. He said that I invadeted his privacy. He told my husband that he will beat him up and kill my dog if I ever walk my dog in his area again. He even followed us and tried to figure out where we live. His neighbor has filed compliants against his dogs and kids.

Can I give my dog the same Glucosamine/Chondroitin that I take? She has Arthritis quite bad. The vet said to get her some, and as it is herbal, I wondered if there is a difference between human/pet form, or whether she can have what I have?

I might be getting this Standardbred who I am kind of "saving." He is dead lame but it is the first time I have seen him lame ( I have known him for 3 years) and he used to be a sulky racer and is 16. I'm going to see him tomorrow and examine his legs, but I'm just wondering what would be good for him. Stall rest? shoes off?
Thanks!!

I'm so confused which puppy I should buy as I love both these breeds but haven't own either. I don't have a clue how to make the decision so please mention some valauble qualities that can distinguish in some manner to help me pick a breed. Who are more loyals and more eager to please? Who is better with children? and anything that you can tell. Thanks!

fact: he was nutered very early (at 3.5 months).

I don't know if that has anything to do with anything.

ps. he only lifted his leg twice!!! and that was to pee in the house!!! after that, he never did it again.
