My dog has seizures and chicken or beef is not recommend.
Anything with fruits or vegetables, lamb or turkey are fine. Natural dog treats are just too expensive to buy all the time.

Does anyone made their own dog treats. If so could you let me know how. I am willing to change the recipe if I need to, so I can feed to my dog. Any thoughts would be great.

I found a wonderful site called (getrecipes.com) There is a dog treat section there with ton's of doggie treat's. Good luck finding it, you and your pooch will both enjoy .

If you trust your vet more when it comes to nutrition, why not ask him for some recipes. If you had talked to your vet, he would have told you not to put white sugar in any dog treats you make. Go to the library and get some books on dog treats.
