Me and my boyfriend are looking to buy 2 pet ferrets.. preferably adoption.. but we are unsure of where to go in our area. Does anyone know of a place to buy or adopt ferrets near Allentown Pennsylvania???

Our cat (5 years old), weighs abt. 15 lbs. has recently stopped eating. She was at the vet in 5/06 for shots and a checkup and totally freaked out at that. She has seemed healthy, is an indoor cat only. However she has recently stopped eating. We have tried to introduce 2 different cat foods, still not eating. This has been going on for over a week. Not really drinking any water either. Any helpful ideas or tips?

does my angelfish have any special needs?i'm keeping him with a small betta and 2 yellow wagtail platies. they're all getting along fine but this one seems to be the only one eating.how often do i have to change the water? how much? can u tell me whats wrong with my other fish and how to take care of them? they've been recently added to my tank.im a beginner and i need to get all the help i can. my tank is 10 gal. and unfortunatly they were all added at the same time

ok,i was reading a magasine i buyed about science,the magasine said that every year a kind of bird extinct,and from now on,there will extinct 5 per year,and by now,500 has extinct sinse 500 years ago,so i wanted to know,i remembered that i was in the dentist like in january and i saw a magasin of national geographic with a documentary about a bird that was about to extinct,but the magasin was from june of 1997,so the bird by now has to be extincted,but i remember the pictures a little,what i cant remember,and i tried looking in yahoo images,was the name,it was a beautifull bird(DUH!!) with a really long tail,i think the bird was green,but i dont know if its the only color,i think it also had yellow and red,but it had a beautifull long tail,by then,i remember the name was something like quesacotl,but thats the name in spanish, but,to those who played final fantasy 8 once,it was the first summon that appears in the game,the electric one.anyway,if someoe knows the name,please tell me,

She holds on for dear life to the bars and screams. I rub her head and hold her beak and she is fine until I try to take her out then all heck breaks loose. She is eating fine. When I bought her privately they said the person that can take the bird out was not home. When I tried to take her out she would not come out and they said that was because she did not know me "yet". I just spent $800.00 and can not hold the bird. What can I do? Please help me.

i have a femlae german shepard and she is really hyper and i cant control her. I usually just leave her in the back yard b/c its hard to walk her. I feel like I dont treat her the best way I can b/c she is so big and so hard to control. I love her deeply, but how do I control her?

We had to put down our cat spot today. He was 14 years old and lived a great life of just lounging in the sun relaxing. He didnt seem to sick until about 2 days ago. He was having trouble breathing and couldnt sleep on his side. Three years ago the vet said he might have heart disease. The xrays were normal then. Today we couldnt even see his heart there was so much fluid in his body. I felt guilty because it might have been too soon to put him down. On the other hand I feel happy he lived a great life and we ended his suffering. Was it the right time to put him down:(?

I have a cat, Vader and he is about two years old, just recently he has started to pee in my bed...only on my side not my hubby's side? What's up with that?? He has done it three times so far, last night he did it with me in the bed...ewww...that's gross! The mom was a stray and I rescued her, she is pregant, she also has a male kitten that doesn't have six does but her femlae kitten does.. I want to know why the femlae does and not the male?

Also I am not very educated on how to take care of a pregant mom... I am currenly feeding her (and her kittens) all natural wet/dry kitten food, since they are very skinny. She was seen by the vet and is most def. pregant, but what else do I need to do for her? Does she need vitamins or anything else?? thanks..
