well first of all i think its great that you have taken in 7 cats and a kitten. try keeping their environment clean. Trying having more than just 2 litter boxes if thats the case. bring them treats. cats love to feel that there being taken care of.

The first would be lots and lots and lots of petting- cats love that.
Another thing you might want to try would be an occassional treat of some sort and perhaps one of those cheap little balls with bells in them or a toy filled with catnip. These too, are relatively inexpensive and almost all cats love them.

Are you insane? Nine cats! In the state of California you could get fined for that and have them taken away from you. Not to mention, you can also be put on a "This person cannot have any pets"list.

Oh this is easy tho you may not agree.....1) Catnip 2) Tuna water over their food 3) A REALLY good petting brush 4) Lots of petting.....bring a friend in...if they are stoned it wont matter who holds them 4) Speak softly.....remember how sensitive their hearing is...no kitchen appliances or washing machines etc.....QUIET and perhaps some soft classical music with low resonant tones....i had a lot of cats and this always worked.
Best to you....Cheers!!!

Hi there,
What I do when I feed is pet each one and talk to them. If you have the time or better yet when you have the time sit outside and give them there loves. They love to play. Also, mine seem to do really well with Purina Cat Chow. Love, food, play and water, milk, but of course love again.
