neutered cats do not roam the nieghborhood looking for mates, so they will tend to stay close to home turf and rarely wander, unless they see something they want to hunt. But your cat is 10 yrs old - she should be a lot calmer now. If your 10 year old is showing sudden behavioral changes, she may be trying to tell you that she is not feeling too well. Just to be on the safe side, why don't you take her to your vet for a check up and describe the cat's change of behavior.

I think it depends on the cat. Neutered cats have been known to run away or get lost. Maybe she's just a homebody. As for the snapping and contrariness...have you had her checked out at the vet? She's a senior now and could have all sorts of things wrong. She could be in pain of some sort. Or maybe the children are playing too roughly with her when you're not around.

I'm a little confused. Females are spayed, males are neutered so I don't know if you have a female or male cat.
Yes it is true sterlized cats usually are less likely to roam.
Whether she's 10 months or 10 years and acting differently for no apparent reason, maybe her health is affecting her. Consider scheduling an appointment at your vets to rule out any health problems that may be bothering her.

If your cat is a she then she wasn't neutered, she was spayed. Just to set the record straight. Male cats are neutered, females are spayed, and if you get the two confused, you could always just say your cat has been altered. Anyway...
If your cat is showing signs of aggression that she has never shown before, a trip to the vet is in order! She may be in some type of pain or sick, and needs to be treated in order to get better!

It does help to keep them at home... but I've got to ask - what the heck kind of vet would have any cat fixed at 2 months old??? The reproductive organs are not even remotely ready for that yet!
You may want to try a calming formula that will help with her hormonal problems and irritability. Bach's Rescue Remedy or a remedy by Homeovet would work great. Ask at a health store that deals with pet meds. good luck to you!

black cats are authentic .. and right it truly is a few thing to inform the guy who instructed you they don't look to be extremely black: did you recognize polar bears easily have black fur? they do, the basis and below each and each of the white is black fur! How about that little -authentic- exciting reality Oh and yet another component, I easily have a 10yr previous black cat, and that i have a neighbor who has a 13yr previous one besides, as they become old, you spot that the black fades to a brown tint, you spot it at the same time as they are inthe sunlight, it really is exciting.
