We've had this white cat for awhile--even more so when she was a kitten and then rescued her 2 months later--from someone who badly neglected animals.

She was terribly skinny and all skin and bones. My wife and have been trying to fatten her up a bit over time, but we seem to be losing the battle with her.

We try to give her canned, we try to give her other cat food that's formulated to help her, but she doesn't want to gain weight.

And on top of that, she's always throwing up as soon as she eats 7 times out of 10.

I don't know how long we can keep her alive. But taking her the vet is expensive.

Any suggestions?

We drive by this farm with horses on it all the time. My 3 year old asked me why they are wearing masks...and I have no clue. They have masks over their face. What is this for? My son is in the "why" stage and I'd like to be able to answer him.

I got home today and fed it, it was fine. Then I went out again and when I came back it was suddenly a paleish sick color instead of its usual bright blue color. What's wrong with it? The temperature is fine, nothing looks bad.

Are there any instructions that will assist me in trying to rescue my cat from ther roof of my apartment building? It looks like the cat got up there by climbing one of the trees closest to the building. Now of course she can no climb down. There is a spot that if I sit on someones shoulders I may be able to reach her. However with the cat being spooked already, I have no idea how I'm going to get a hold of her. Further more if I do get a hold of her, how can I keep her from scratching me and/or causing me to take a fall? Any suggestions are welcome as long as they are geared toward saving the cat. I just lost my min. dachshound and am thinking about getting a larger dog this time. Any ideas on a large version so to speak of a doxie? I was looking at a Wiemaraner, Vislas, or Blue Tick Coonhounds, maybe even a Pointer of some sort like a German Shorthaired. I have a very large yard but it will have to stay in the house at night when I go to the lake. So the dog will spend alot of time with me on the road. Thanks for all your help!!! ; )

Just got a 10-12 week old kitten. She was a barn cat, I've put her in the litter box, but she just wants to jump out. I have a rabbit and when I opened her cage, the kitten went to the bathroom in the cage. I'm not going to leave the door open, and I put some cedar chips in the litter box, just because she smelled it. She has worms so I've given her medicine. I don't want runny crap all over the place. She's a sweet kitten, but I can't have it using the bathroom all over my house. And, I am keeping her inside, no options on that one. Any help would be great.

My cat is attacking her kittens like they are toys. She starts by licking them and than she gets them in her front paws and starts to paw them with her back ones while she is biting them! They are only 2 weeks old.This really upsets me, but is it normal? If so I guess I will just have to deal with it!

I am moving. I have a cat who is 8 months old and will be 9 when we actually move in. The room mate has a dog who is 8 yrs old. Both of these animals are females. Niether of them has ever been around the other. Do you think they will get along? I know maybe not right away, but do you think they will learn to live with eachother.
