Went to vet, shampooed cat, got flea drops, but the poor guy is still scratching. When I brush him I also get this black, dandruff looking, stuff.Can't really afford another vet bill. Help!

my husband has been ill and recently had stents put in. he now has to go see a pulminary specialist. he wanted a new dog. we brought the dog home from the animal shelter on thursday and the dog does not seem to bonding with him

Is it possible for cats' claws to get too long and need to be clipped? They're not tearing up furniture or anything, but they're shedding fingernail clipping-like things all over my apartment. If I need to clip my cats' claws, how would I do so--especially when it comes to getting them to hold still? Thanks!

I currently have a single iguana about 8 inches in body length, a foot and half to two feet with tail. I'm buying a large cage tomorrow for him because hes too big for the tank he's in now. Is it possible he can live with another smaller iguana if i buy one when i buy the tank... or will the adult kill the younger one instantly? i"m not saying buy a small small baby.... but a younger smaller one.... both being placed in the new tank at the same time might help?

My dog, a pitbull mix I've had for 6 years, recently bit my husband and today she tried to bite me, we have 2 young kids and I don't know what to do. I think I should have her put down because I really don't know any other options, what would you do? All shelters in my area put down pitbulls anyway and I don't feel comfortable giving her to a friend or family member because she might bite them.

I've had lots of cats in my lifetime and I have never had this problem. As soon as I put her in, she jumps right out and she has already done her business in a few places she should not have. HELP!! Thanks......

I have been recently insulted by a man on here because He claims I have no right to defend my breed because according to him he (my dog) does not qualify as a Pitbull because I do not fight him nor does he come from Pit fighting parents. He feels the rest of us should shut up because we do not own real Pitbulls and therefore are not entitled to speak about the breed.

My question is this;
If a person has a Lab or pointer and does not retrieve or point with their dog then technically according to this guy your dog is not a real Lab or Pointer, do you agree?
That would also mean that for those of us who do not do what our dogs were originally bred for but rather have them as pets do not REALLY own what you thought you owned...
am I wrong?

He is the most hyper dog. he sat in the pound for about 6 mo and was next to be euthanized. that was my main reason for adopting him. i dont understand him though in the house he is a monster but you put him on a leash and he is a prince. I can walk him and juggle my 2 kids. How do i get him to keep his outside manners while in the house. i have never been one to keep a dog outside all day but that is the only place he is happy and doesnt run over my kids.Help please.

She's not eating a whole bunch and when she drinks water she drools everywhere. The front end of her mouth foams up alot. It's pretty gross. Has anyone ever had this problem.
