I hate to say it but if no one will help I would put poison them, I know that sound horrible and but your family is more important. put it in your front yard in the grass not in there yard, that way shouldn't be illegal should it? i mean trespassing is trespassing

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your neighbor's dog. Your neighber should be made aware of this soon.

However, I don't think the solution to this matter is for you to take the law on your own hands and do the things you are planning to do. Further more, you could kill the dog by offering chocolate milk and onion juice. They are poison to dogs. I don't know the extent of the attack done by this dog to your animal. But retaliating against the dog at this point doesn't seem to be self defense either.

You should warn the ower of the dog first in written form. If you still find the dog to be trouble, you should contact the animal control instead of trying to kill it on your own. It can't be justified unless you killed the dog in the process of defending yourself.

You could really hurt someone else's heart by killing it. Please make sure you really had no other option before doing such thing.

I hope you all the best!

Don't be ridiculous about the mote and trying to poison the dogs. Who's better now, you or those dogs and their owners? Come on, be a bit more logical. If you have children and this has been an issue, it's a no brainer that you should call the police and/or animal control. Pit bulls are notorious for aggression, and I don't know what state you are in, but in my state (PA) it's illegal to not have an animal either contained in a fenced in yard or on a leash.

Um....have you tried calling the police/animal control? That would be the first step....and a bit easier than building a moat in your front yard.

You wanna know the legality of what you're thinking of doing.....here's something for you to think about; what the neighbors are doing is HIGHLY illegal....

If dogs are really attacking your family - call police -if no help a 40 cal and a black trash bag to dispose of the body will help- the body of the dogs not the people

i live in the country, not sure where you live city?? anyway a 12 gauge shotgun or 20 gauge will work the same, load with rocksalt and next time the animals get close shoot'em in the Buttocks, trust me that will save you tons of work. good luck. oh yeah if the owners complain, same applies, shoot'em in the Buttocks. good luck

I don't know there are any laws against this but contact Animal control or your local sherriff and ask that the animals be removed because they have attack or demand that they be put Down

we (the subdivision) had problems with a neighbor's dogs. Called police, sheriff and finally contacted the judge. Every time time a bite, etc. happened, a claim would be filed on their insurance. finally it got so expensive they moved.
