I just got this 3 gallon bowl (the biggest "fish bowl" you can get, and I really want to add a little fish buddy in with my betta. Is there any other fish I can add in with my betta in a 3 gall bowl?

Sorry if you're too young, but this is a valid medical question.

I've never owned a non neutered male dog before. Twice now I have seen my 9 week old Golden's penis look bloody. It's very odd, it looks red and bloody, then just disappears. Is this something that comes out of the peis normally? It looks like a long bloody stump emerges than disappears. I'm sure this is a common thing, I've just never owned a puppy before.

Thanks!

(Also, if you answer crudely with no actual information, I'm gonna flag you, just so you know. Thanks!)

I bought a 9wk old puppy from a breeder. I had him for a week. He had slightly loose stools when I bought him and it got worse by the end of the week. On the day that I brought him to the vet he had bloody stool. I brought him in and they tested him for worms, he tested positive for hookworm. We went home with meds for worms and he just slept allday. It was in the evening when I knew something was really wrong, he could barely move. I brought him to the emergency hospital and told them about the hookworm. They tested him for parvo virus and he tested positive. They said he would have to be hospitalized and that it would cost close to $3,000 so we had to put him to sleep as we do not have that kind of money. I called the breeder & told him what happened and he called his vet who said that he could have had a false positive on the parvo test if he had bad enough hookworm. Is this true? The vet at the emergency hospital said nothing of the sort. I cant stop thinking about it. Please help!

When looking after my brother in law's dog, I have noticed that she looks having her tummy tickled, but she doesn't seem to react in the same way as humans. So it begs the question are animals ticklish?

I didn't know my green snake was in a family way when I bought her and this morning I found a baby green snake poking around in there! I had to go to work so didn't have time to seperate them, but was wondering if that was necessary. There's also 3 anoles in there. It's a pretty good sized vivarium and everyone is well fed. Do I have to seperate everybody?

When you take your dog for a walk, do you bring a pooper scooper or plastic baggie with you, or do you just let him do his business as nature intended (in people's yards).

PS- Best Answer will be put to a vote since this is more like a poll.
