I think that the universe would be in such turmoil over which way to go, that time would stand still, either that or the cat /toast would just spin in mid-air causing a great sideways twister and cities would be destroyed, please don't do this.

Cats always land on their feet and buttered toast always lands face down, so it depends on which way the butter was facing.
Seriously though you sicko, a cat can seriously damage the roof plate in it's mouth even if it tries to jump from a fair old height - and if i ever catch you doing this i'll chop your nuts off!!

I actually tried this; the cat landed on its feet. I'm going to try again from a shorter building with a larger piece of toast.

It depends entirely on what way up the toast is when it's strapped to the cats back ;o)

I tried this out. My Cat sustained severe injuries and had to be put down. I also ruined a perfectly good slice of Toast.
I love Cats really!! Cats rule!!

This question calls for an expirement. Lets gather up all the cats and drop them off our roofs with toast stapped on them! I hate cats.

Don't you think there's a risk that some irresponsible kids will think this is funny and try it? Don't you think you should delete the question?
