It is PetSmart (Pet Smart). The advertising and logo were recently changed to reflect this. The outside store signs are still being replaced. If you notice the new logo Pet is in blue and Smart is in red.

Ouch, my brain hurts now. Just kidding, it already hurt because I ate too much sugar earlier. Anyway, in the commercials it sounds like they are emphasizing Pet Smart, and if it were Pets' Mart there would be an apostrophe. Gosh I am bored. I am going to take headache pills now.

It's a combo of both - it's a Smart choice for pets, and a mart for pets. lol.

My guess is that it should be Pets' Mart, (since it's "where the pets go") but the ambiguity is part of the fun of it. It may be the place where pets go, but you are Pet Smart if you take your pet there! :)

i went there yesterday, and i go there real frequently and trust me this is what it is. and if ppl say it is "pet smart" don't listen to them. it is "PETS MART". like a mart, kinda meaning market.
