When you take your dog for a walk, do you bring a pooper scooper or plastic baggie with you, or do you just let him do his business as nature intended (in people's yards).

I bring plastic bags on our walks. We live in the city and cleaning up your dog's poo is a necessity there. (Although there are some disgusting people who take a dump in our alley and that's not cleaned up but that's another story.)
There's a park on our block where people don't clean up their dog's poo. It's really gross. There's a sign posted citing the law code about cleaning up after your dog and someone mounted a bag holder so there's always a bag available AND there are trash cans in the park. Guess some people are too self-absorbed to clean up like everyone else.

truthfully confront them! this is each physique's sidewalk they're on! If this isn't any longer a sidewalk it somewhat is a public park, or somebody's backyard! i might say "Oh, you will possibly desire to have neglected that." with a candy-as-pie smile on my face. ;] i'm blessed with a canine who won't, under any situations, poop on a walk. yet then that makes for greater backyard cleanup, of direction. Blast! ;)

We live outside of town...country...so when we go on walks...we never are near anyone's yard. So I don't clean it up. More than most likely we are the only ones that even walk where we do. But if we did go through anyone's yard i would clean it up....think about it...who wants dog poo on their shoe? Not even an animal lover like me wants that.

I scoop whenever they go outside my yard. I scoop in my yard a couple of times a week. Not fun - but our dogs are worth it.

On a walk through the woods or other natural area, no. Through the neighborhood, the shopping center, or other public place, yes. My backyard, no, as they go up into the woods on the back of my property.

If we are on a walk, the poop gets cleaned up. If we are hiking in the woods or off trail, and it is not on the way of anyone/anything, I leave it. If it can come in contact with someone, or is on their property, you have to pick it up. It's rude.

it depends on how you are asking, cause im an a...hole, if somebody did some stuff to my yard, i would let the dog poop, and then ill poop, along with some newspapers, ill just have to remind myself to bring some TP. but on a general day, ill just take him to a park, where people hardly go to and its away from kids, and just let him do his business there.

I use a bag. The scooping method disgusts me, especially when dog doo-doo is fresh and barely out of the oven.

I pick up cat scat

I bag it, scoop it, scrape it, fling it, wrap it, mop it, drop it, huck it, muck it, and shuck it all. I'm very clean that way.
