just wondernig how do mice get inside the house. like where i stay is a mobile home and so the house is very high off the ground about 2 feet ... how do the get in?

They generally get in through the holes that your pipes are in. Ever notice that under your sink, you see an open area where your pipe is? Try using some steel wool-100% steel wool (not SOS or Brillo pads)and seal around all the holes. Mice can't chew through the steel wool.I have heard, but don't know for sure, that if a mouse can get his nose in-then he has no problem getting the rest of his body in. So, make sure the entire open area is sealed well.

Mice have a asoft bone structure that allows them to stretch there bodys and allows them to get through very small spaces. Most generally mice will try to find a warm spot when the weather starts to turn colder in the fall. My suggestion is to purchase a few mouse traps that plug into a electrical outlet. The noise drives them out.

As stated before mice can squeeze through very tiny holes. This is because they have collapsible skeletal structures. Your average mouse can squeeze through a hole the size of a nickel.

They can fit through really tiny cracks, I believe the size of a quarter or smaller. I would get a cat to kill the mice. But beware not all cat's are good mousers.

Mice can squeeze into the tiniest place you can imagine. They get on pipes and anything coming into the house and manage to get inside.

usually through air vents like the heater. and small wholes. they can squeeze through anything. get a cat!!
