Okay, i have a guinea pig, and a female dog. My guinea pig is a male (if that helps) The cage that my guinea pig lives in is dog proof from killing him...........And cat proof (the only way my cat could kill him is clawing him to death), but a few days ago, my dog went up and sniffed noses with my piggy (through the cage bars). That was it. The next day, she sniffed noses with him, and started barking, showing her fangs, and almost knocked the cage off the bookcase it is sitting on. It didn't hurt him (thank god!) but it scared the carrots out of him! How to i train my dog to stop doing that and leave my piggy alone???? Please help........... I don't want her to kill my piggy........... Or have him sent away :-(((

I think there might be something wrong with one of my cats. I've noticed a clear discharge on places where my cats usually sit. It is not urine. It doesn't have much of an odor and seems to be clear. The probalem is that I have three cats and I am not sure which one it is coming from, or where the discharge is coming from.

I have had cats my whole life and have never encountered a problem like this before. I have also had these cats for years with no major health issues.

Any advice would be helpful. I love my cats very much and don't want to see one of them sick.

I would take the cat to the vet, except that I don't know which one it is. Also, none of them are displaying any other unusual symptoms.

Thank you for any help you may provide.

I enjoy training my dogs and love hearing how other people have taught their dogs. My cat also retrieves and plays football with me - by batting a ping pong ball backwards and forwards.

Serious answers only please!!!

I think that is what my pet parakeet Daisey Sue died of. She let out a large sqauk, eggs started falling out of her all over the place, then she fell off her perch and died. Is that a normal disease for an older female bird?

We are moving house and wanted to fit a cat flap for our rescued cat however our new house only has patio doors and no back door to fit the cat flap to. We have a shed at the bottom of the garden we were thinking of putting into the door of that. My question is do i get our cat to eat her food from the shed at all times or keep the food in the house and move the food into the shed when we go away where we would have a bed etc for her?

He has just been floating on his belly for days....he is alive and active when I check on him. I poke him and he swims away and returns to the surface elsewhere. For a while....he even sat out of the water for long periods of time, sticking to the side of the tank out of the water. Now, I thought these animals lived most ogf their lives in the water;....is mine sick or something? Anyone had this experience?

MADISON, Wis. — Despite passionate opposition from cat lovers, Wisconsin residents supported a plan that would allow hunters to take out wild felines that kill birds and other small mammals.
Residents who attended the meetings of the Wisconsin Conservation Congress (search) voted Monday night to allow hunters to kill cats at will, just like skunks or gophers

What bird is really playful but still okay around kids 6+? My tiel is sweet but doesn't 'DO' much. I see all these toys (paper, bells) and know my tiel won't play with them much. He doesn't do much with all the ones he has, just chews a wee bit.

Do you yourself have a bird? If so, how playful is it and does it nip?
