No...the tomato fruit is not toxic, but the leaves and the stems are.
FYI...onions are toxic to most mammals and birds. The onions can cause the RBCs to rupture and that causes a form of anemia.

If they were my dogs would be dead by now.
Mine go out to the garden and pick their own tomatoes.
They eat two or three per day most days.
They also like green beans and lettuce and spinach.
They are quite the veggie eaters.
