Do you trim their hooves yourself. What kind of classes did you have to take. I dont want to do it as a career I just want to save a bit of money and have the satisfaction of doing it myself.

well my snake had shedded his skin about two days ago now, and i was looking at the skin and it shows only one eye cap. but the whole skin was in one piece. then, i looked at my snakes eyes, but they look normal.. is it possible that the eye cap is still on there? cause his eyes do look clear, but Ive read that the eye cap could stay on his eye and look normal. please help, and give lots of detail and information, thank you!

Our cat Morris is 15months old, my son is almost 4 and dotes on him. Me and my partner have decided to get another kitten to join him. A boy, how do you think Morris will react? Is there a certain way to introduce them? I don't want Morris to hate him i'd like them to be friends.

ok i have 4 10mo cats all from the same litter and thier mother 5 yrs old, ive decided to keep them all..ive noticed my big ol boy kneeds constantly (a thing a cat does on soft areas where they lift 1 paw up at a time and kinda smoosh out a area b4 laying down) why does he do this? hes managed to deform 3 of my decrotive pillows lol...ive asked the vet and they said this is usually due to a cat who was stopped from nursing to early or lost his mom..but hes had his mom since birth and still has her....in fact my mumma cat had a litter not to long ago (about 10 weeks) and hes countiusly the only 1 who nurses off her...its the sillyiest thing to see...a big ol boy 3 times his moms size drinking off her...is something wrong with him? hes totally jealous of his other siblings too and attacks them to the point where most are living atop my fridge...hes kinda the big alpha male king of the house...could a cat be mentally retarded from birth?more info about this cat is in recent questions..ty

I'm taking 3 cats to NYC. I'm worried about getting them on the plane. One gets carsick after 2 blocks. One is very big and I will not be able to fit him under the seat for any period of time and they all are big babies.

I also just got a place that is much, much smaller than where I lived before (very expensive city) and I'm afraid they will be unhappy.

Finally my place has a balcony 6 floors up and I am terrified of them getting out or falling out. I'd love for them to get fresh air and sit outside but I'd die if anything happened to them.

I'd appreciate any constructive advice. I'm having a post-lease signing anxiety attack and can't sleep.

I want to buy 2 ferrets from a girl I know. They are 3 years old.
Recently I've heard that once ferrets get to be 3 years old they start to get diseases and don't live long after 3. Is this true? She's going to sell me the 2 ferrets and all the equipment for $350. Do you think this is a good purchase to make?

does it make anyone as sick as me that Denver has now almost killed 1000 Pits because of the political power and ignorance of politicians? They have starved newborn puppies because they were Pit pups as well as a mans dog was shot while he was passing through. does this sound like animal cruelty to anyone else.
If you hate Pits then save your comments and move to Denver.

i walk my dog Barkley every night. he then goes through the whole block smelling and peeing on some of my neighbors grass, plants or flowers. when he poo poos i pick them up and clean after it. no one complains about my dog other than this one family who didnt like my dog on their yard. so is it really okay for me and my dog to keep doing what were doing? coz there might be a "silent" message you know...

Today has not been good. My boyfriend got a puppy a couple months ago. Levi. He fell in love with him and they were inseperable.(The puppy even would jump in the shower when he would be in there.) Today was my boyfriends 23rd birthday. I sent him some flowers,when he opened the door for the UPS guy Levi ran out and was hit by a car and died immediently. He had to see the body and everything. He then carried it and buried him in the sideyard. He called me crying his eyes out. He kept saying " I miss him, I want him back." I live a few hours away from him and cant see him until this weekend. I feel so bad, the card I sent with the flowers said --- Love me and Levi.--- .He even went out last night to petsmart with Levi and bought him some new toys and everything.What can i do? Anything? My heart is breaking for him and Levi. He sounds horrible on the phone.
Man, why do things like this have to happen!!

i found him in the backyard when he was a little baby parakeet. he was sooooooooo sweet. but this morning he started to cough up blood and the vet said i should put him down. so i did. i miss hearing his sweet "good morning" song and i miss feeling him perch on my fingers when i fed him. i miss him soo much and i cant sleep. any ideas on how to help me cope (and maybe get a little shut eye, 2)?

when I pick him up he can get frightened I try to suport his back legs so he doesnt shake what will stop him from kicking/scratching in fear it makes you bleed and I have dropped him before? what's the best way to clean his cage?
How much is too much to feed him? He looks fat his bowl holds about 300 grams and I feed him 2 a day
He wont drink from a water bottle he doesnt like it and prefers a bowl he drinks about 400ml per day
He gives me alergies and asthma is there something I can do for myself to stop this I want to pet him more often
One more, can I train him on a harness just for some exercise and to get him out of his cage? He's 4 yrs old now

Could the fact she had puppies so early have stunted her growth? I always kept her in a kennel when she was in heat, but i went out for a week and the woman who was watching her didnt do a very good job...
Shes maybe...40-55lbs and she doesnt have very thick fur like an average german shepherd but shes perfectly healthy, energetic, gentle and protective just like any other.
Please try and answer, I'm just a little worried since shes only grown about 5 inches total since i first got her (9 1/2 months)
She didnt have any problems having puppies but she only had 2, and they're both very healthy.

The dad is a full blue pit (show quality with flawless pedigree), mom is blue pit/lab mix (sable color) and she just dropped a litter today. There are 12 puppies and 2 of them are sable. The rest are all blue mostly solid blue. I really don't care about how much I would profit or lose (as long as its not too much.) I don't want it to go to a home where people will fight the dogs or cannot afford vet fees for checkups and etc. I really regret the fact that I did not spay my female due to my busy schedule and procrastination. Anyhow the blue pits are very desirable for pitbull lovers. The parents have great temperment and are excellent guard dogs. How much should a person sell their puppies if they cannot screen the homes? $100? $200? How much would you pay or sell it for (considering the fact that you are not trying to make money)? Has anyone used Soft Claws nail caps on their cat? I'd like to hear your experiences with them. Do you put them on yourself or have the vet do it? Also did your cat accept them very easily? I'm afraid my cat would absolutely freak out if she had plastic glued to her claws.
