And by heat I mean it's still 95 to 108 at midnight. I have to big cats and I want to be able to keep them cool. It has been 100 to 115 for 5 days now. I cannot keep the air conditioner on all day long because it blows the circuit breaker about every 3 hours. I am gone most of the day and during the hottest part of the day. I have tried to keep damp towels on the kitchen floor and plenty of water available. I keep fans on where they can lay in front of them to try and keep cool. They just seem so listless. I am out of ideas. Any advice?

I am looking for a medium to large dog. It would spend as much time inside as outside and I have no children. Also I am not interested in an agressive breed. Any ideas?

My friend's bunny died today. She is upset because This morning her dad woke her up to tell her, her bunny died and she had to bury her rabbit. She said he went outside and it was barely alive and now it's gone. She never got to say good bye. Any advice for me to tell her? I don't want her sad.

...and part of her shoulders are also brown. I have a big show coming up on August 4th and it will look terrible in the show ring (especially in halter). How can I bring out her natural black again? Are there any products out there? Thanks!

I have a cocker spaniel that is potty trained and has access to a doggie door at all times. Recently he has been peeing in the house and sometimes even pooping. He waits until I leave or am in the next room. I don't know what to do. He is fixed and has been for years. I know he knows how to use the doggie door and will go outside to use the bathroom when he feels like it, but he will go in the house daily to every other day. He has gone periods without any accidents or problems in the past. Please help!! I am so frustrated and my fiance feels he does it on purpose to be a brat. My fiance is upset and wants to punish him, but I don't think that is the answer. It just makes him do it more. HELP!!!!

I have two 4-5 inch and two 1-2 inch fantail goldfish. I want to add some other type of animal into my tank. I have owned an African Dwarf Frog before but I am not sure I want another because they aren't very active. Does anyone know of a small turtle, frog, maybe a unique type of fish, or other creature that could be added into my tank
that would be no bigger than about 6 inches??

Today my bunny passed away in my arms. He was fine up until today when I walked in to see him. He had his paws spread out straight and wouldn't move. I took him out of the cage, he still wouldn't move. I turned him on his back and then I knew he was dying as he made no attempt to turn himself over. His respirations were very rapid and then he passed. What do you think happened? I am heartbroken and feel ill

Last night i was in A+E.Had stitches in my arm after an iresponsible dog owner was out with dog(a rescue 'pitbull') with no collar! I was on a short walk with my Staffie, who is nearly11.I ALWAYS have a collar+lead on him. He's had a couple of fights when he was young, but nothing like this.Cos the other dog had no collar, there was no control over it.It locked on+ ragged his head many times+is now in a bad way.I got bit while separating them.

I have had chickens for about six months now. I have 1 big rooster and 8 hens and 4 guineas in a large coop. The inside where the boxes are is about 8 foot by ten foot and the yard they have full access too is about 8 foot by 15 to 20 feet. For the first time, last week I noticed one of my hens is sitting on 10 eggs. What do I do?

People I talked to said the rooster and other hens will kill the chicks when they hatch out. Said I have to bring them in and put them in a round box and feed them round the clock. Is this true? How are there so many chickens if they cant raise their own? I really need some advice from someone who has been there and knows what they're talking about. Thanks for any help!

I know dogs throughout their life will nap and lounge around, but I am wondering how long I will get my quiet time (haha)... my pups our 4 and 5 months old and they nap quite a bit (more if we have a rambunctious day)... I would say they nap in the morning, afternoon, and evening for 1-2 hours. Is this a lot, or not enough and until how old will they do this? Thank you!!

My 7 month old Golden Retriever does. She just goes wild and skitters all over the floors (not carpeted) and bounces up, on, and off both couches. Just a sudden burst of energy then it's over.

I have a dog and she is an Yorkie. She is not a teacup nor she's not a toy size. She's in between. She is going to be pregnet on August and then she will be getting babies in November. So should I let her do it at home or the vet ? Well if we do it at home please tell me why I should... Also will my dog do everything her self when she gets her babies? Does she really need our help?

He can be outside for 2 minutes and he stinks. He is a inside dog- just goes out for bathroom breaks. I give him baths and they will last until he goes back outside. Any ideas how to cure this?
