...and part of her shoulders are also brown. I have a big show coming up on August 4th and it will look terrible in the show ring (especially in halter). How can I bring out her natural black again? Are there any products out there? Thanks!

Jeffers has a coat enhancer for black coats that may help. To keep a black horse black during the summer, stall her during the day and let her out at night.
Some people put dyes (hair) on they're horses.
Best of luck at the show.

You dont say where you are living - but here in Ireland we can get a shampoo called dreamcoats which bring out the horses natural colour - black/chestnut/grey whatever.
Failing that - I often put babyoil on my greys coat - i find it brings out the natural gloss of the coat - which may appear blacker!
having said all this - if she still remains browney - so what!!! Shes not going to be judged on the colour of her body, itll be her confirmation etc!
Best of luck though

Keep blanketed. There is a product called "Black as Knight" that can be fed to the horse to help keep coat color. It's by Cheval. There are also color enhancing shampoos that you can find at horse supply stores.

You can keep her in her stall and under shade from now until the show. You can also use a summer weight blanket on her.
In the ring, If you have a judge that knows his business, the color shouldn't make a difference since there are no Black color breeds.

i imagine it has to do with soul. Black singers recognize a thanks to exhibit how they're feeling deep down with the help of their voices. it will be genetics or it will be prepare from a gentle age. Celine Dion has a captivating voice. Christina Ag, JoJo, red and the white singers over in England which have superb, reliable voices were all inspired by skill of black singers. look it up.

There is a supplement called Black as Knight, but it wont work that soon. I use it and it does help, but it takes a couple of months.
There are darkening shampoos out there, but I dont know if I would trust them too much.

I don't think so . You need to keep them in and turn them out to graze in the early morning and late evening or sheet them .My horse is Blue Roan and he changes too.
