Leopard geckos can have a UTH (under tank heaters). Though the temps should be no higher than 90F and no lower than 85F. It is nice to look at them at night since they are nocturnal....so I would suggest getting a low wattage black light bulb. I would get one made by a reptile company such as Exo Terra, since they have special covering over their bulbs. Party black lights can be harmful to their eyes.

the lamps are the best and you also need the right bulb in the lamp to get the right effect.

i actually catch the very large ones outise and let them run loose in the house. they will eat a roach, spider, ants, flys or skeeters and they hang out by the windows. when there hungry and they see anything in your place, they jump on it to munch on.
