Yes, bearded dragons. They are soooo sweet, too. Scary looking, but sweet. They eat mostly veggies. I think you can feed them pinkie mice once in a while if you want, or just get them some calcium to sprinkle on their food.

Much Love & happy pet-hunting!!

Well there aren't many that dont need live insects in their diets but here are a few.. I understand your issue, I have anoles, the cricket thing was not only kinda gross but pretty inconvient
Yahoo! search for the pics
*mali uromastyx
*prehensile tailed skink
*iguana

If you don't like these, do some research by calling local petstore and asking
But instead of a lizard, consider a turtle, its a lot easier to feed them only veggies and they are easier to care for, and not as likely to run away

Good Luck

Yes...herbivorous lizards don't require live food. Like Iguanas.
Bearded Dragons DO require live food. That's basically all they eat until their around a year-18 months.

Frozen/dried canned foods don't have nearly the nutritional value of a live foods. Most lizards won't eat anything that doesn't move anyway. Green Iguanas are herbivorous reptiles...but grow big and are rather expensive to keep compared to a gecko.

While there are dead cricket and mealworms available at pet stores for purchase as an alternative to live ones... most lizards won't eat them. You will likely be better off ordering live crickets/mealworms/whatever online.
