Be sure to call all of the shelters in the area so you are not wasting time fretting over a cat that has been found already. Be sure to put flyers up there, if they allow it.

I do not think an airplane banner would work as everyone would likely think it is some car dealer's gimmick. Putting a monetary amount might help, but also might get you some pranksters, or fraud as well. Good luck!

You're right. Money talks. I would not put the amount on the flyer, though (unless you think that would be helpful). You don't want people calling with fake tips, etc.

When my "Romeo" got out of my house I posted flyers & put color flyers in all my neighborhood's mailboxes. I called Animal Control & local vets to see if anyone had brought him in. My flyers didn't work & I didn't offer a reward.

My husband just told me that my neighbor found my kitty in the woods just up from my house & a coyote had gotten him. This happened 4 years ago & my husband just told me this yesterday! It was what I had suspected all along, but really didn't want to think about it because it was so awful.

I wish you the best of luck! I hope your story has a happy ending!

Yes, definitely it is very important to take action right away. I cannot imagine how difficult this is for you. Cats are like a family member and it is a tragic thing when they cannot be found. I would post a picture of them all around town. I would also call the newspaper and have it put in there. Most newpapers will print this for free and the same day. You may have many different newspapers in your town so call all of them. You can also buy a collar for your kitty and a name tag with it's name and phone number. They also have the micro chip they can insert into skin. Also, you can call your vets, animal pounds and ask them if they have picked up your cat. I cannot begin to tell you how I wish that you find your cat and you will be in my prayers tonight.

be sure to bring a flyer to local veterinarians offices too. If someone hit your kitty or found him injured he might have been taken to an animal hospital. Does he have a chip?

did you check the shelters? Put an ad in the paper?

I hope you find your kitty!

hiya. as a cat lover myself with 15 cats its heart rendering when your faithful cat goes missing.

its always good to put a clear picture on the poster, clear text and make it very clear if your giving a reward.

putting posters up in local supermarkets is good as lots of people use them and ask to put it in a prime place.

also put your lost pet onto as many lost and found sites

register your pet missing with organisations and local vets.

Easy young lady, relax.
Light a white candle and pray for her/his safe return, put a bowl of milk out for her/him.
Good Luck!

awwwa i feel so bad for lost pets so....
if your cat has a favorite toy that made some sort of noise that always cought their attention like a ball with a bell in it like my cat always comes to me when you shake her food bag. and just go around your neighborhood doing that and calling his/her name. good luck!!!!!
