I have a possibly fertile chicken egg. I've read and been told its normal for the chick to be late, it's been 4 days since the egg was due to hatch.

I don't know the date the egg was laid so I don't know weather its late or not.

I can hear movement in the egg but I haven't seen any exteral pipping. I'm starting to get concerned about it, has anyone ever had a scenario similar to mine? If so can anyone give me any advice?

No jokes or wisecracks allowed.

If anyone has ever owned or had any experience with chickens please answer!

thanks!

I have a 9 year old Appaloosa gelding who is basically bomb-proof, but whenever I try to ride him out of the arena (on trails), he wanders around with his ears pricked, smelling the air and trying to eat grass; completely ignoring my commands. He usually bolts at least once and he gets so worked up, I usually end up putting him back in his pasture(cause by that time, I'M freaked out!) I've been told by his previous owners that he is an great trail horse, and they've ridden him on roads too. I've only had him for a year, but I can't seem to solve this problem. I REALLY want to do some hacking with him, please help.

We recieved our cat six years ago from a friend at around six months old,the last time we hears him meow he was very six and it was more of a moan. Recently he began talking ( meowing ) to us as well as sitting in front of the front door meowing as if he wants to go out, but as mentioned earlier he was sick if he geos outside he could become sick again, so we don't allow him out.Can anyone tell me why he would start talking at 7 years old.

Okay I have this very friendly female dog (2 years old on 1/9/07). She is mixed with boxer, hound, and I think Begel. She is very good around the house but loves the outdoors and sprinklers!!! The problem is I live in a small home and have a baby on the way. I hate to have to get rid of her :( but it's just too much to have her around. My wife picked her up at someones house and she is not fixed and needs her shots.
She is white with brown spots and has two sores on her head from about 6 months ago when she was attacked by some bees :( .
I will drive her where you live and if you want some pics just e-mail me at pizzace@yahoo.com

Thank you for your interest ------ Eugene.
P.S. I will drive her about 200 miles from Clermont FL

When we purchased our cockatiel, I thought the breeder had trimmed her wings too short because our cockatiel couldn't fly. Every attempt she would start flipflopping backwards and then do multiple flips. Then some wings would break and I would worry about her safety. I did a search on the net after this continued for six months and I found a site that said if a breeder had trimmed their wings when they are babies learning to fly, they wouldn't learn to fly and they will fly "backwards" and then flop around (like mine) because they don't have the proper balance or chest muscles. Well, I tried "teaching" her by having her fly just a teeny distance from my hand to chest. However, if there is more than two hand spaces to flyvshe starts to flop backwards. I asked the vet, but she didn't seem to know of any solutions. Any suggestions? Thanks!
