She eats once a day. I have 3 other fish in the pond and they are fine. They are just regular goldfish you buy for 29 cents.

You may have been overfeeding her.Don't feed her for a day and a half, and see if that helps. Also, put a little salt in the tank, that is great medicine for Goldfish. If She has Dropsy, then it is hopeless, there is no cure.

First off you can't say your fish has a huge tumor in it's stomach unless you have already dissected it open. More then likely your goldfish is either bloated from a very high-protein diet or it's stomach is infested with internal parasites like worms.
Parasites are a common scourge for pond fish (since they are exposed to many kinds of alien germs/worms that they have never naturally evolved with.)
However you also fail to mention what kind of goldfish this is and fancy goldfish can easily suffer from swim bladder disorders if they are not fed a low-protein, pellet diet.

If the ulcer is fuzzy looking, it's ich, which is easy to treat with medication from the pet store. If it's red and white, it could be "dropsy" which is almost always fatal. If you have an extra empty tank, put it in there by itself, add a little salt to the water, and then get some medication at the pet store. The meds usually have a great desciption of what it treats, and there are a few that treat several ailmants if you are unsure. Good luck.

If the Fish looks like it has a huge bubble, then it may have a gastric implosion. That means that you are feeding it too much and gas is building up in the fishs' stomach. You may want to give it a break from the food and ask your local pet store specialist about this. Good luck, fish are great.

well i really hate to tell you this but she may have a bathroom problem and might be dieing that is normal in old goldfish they usually live from 5-10 years in a tank .. like inside you said yours was outside right so its about a 3 years for a pond because of all the natural minerals.... but really it sounds to me like she has a infection and their is no way to treat it you have to let mother nature run her coarse .. but if you decide that shes in pain and want to do something about it put their in a baggie and put her in the freezer she will stop breathing but its totally harmless....and if she is in pain she will thank you for it..... hope my information is help full really I'm so very sorry..

First, you should get a 5 in 1 water test kit and test the water quality of your pond.

A betta, or different egg-laying fish, does not would desire to be around a male to get finished up with eggs. Off the bat, i might say she is crammed with eggs, so does not hardship too plenty approximately it. regularly if there is not any male around, a woman will basically reabsorb the eggs. or you ought to get a male, prepare him and enable 'em breed. do no longer medicate her today. it relatively is how a woman betta seems while "pregnant".
