I saw a beagle advertised, a female 11 months old, and when I spoke to the owner she said she has not been 'trained' and did I know about beagles, and that they took a lot of training. We want to choose a dog to be a great pet for life so don't want to make a mistake. We have 2 children and a cat - does anyone know anything about taking on a beagle past early puppyhood and hard they are to train??

I know this is probably a non-existent breed, but as a college student who is may be gone for many hours, I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for a dog that is easy to train and doesn't bark alot if you leave it alone. I would be able to take it for walks in the early morning and evening and late at night, just not in the middle of the day (usually). Also, what would it cost, on a monthly basis, for food and whatnot?

Why does my Pookie bug me forever until I pet her and then out of nowhere, when I am petting her and giving her lovins, claw my arm and then proceed to bite and scratch it, while purring the whole time?

where as fighting dogs and one dying is only a misdemenor charge and not a felony? why isn't something said about all this corrupt stuff? are people blind? You kill a police dog you go to jail for murder or life, you kill a civillians dog and its ok. what kind of double standards is that?

Trying to find an online merchant selling Drontal in 1 pack ($3.99 lowest I've seen) without requiring prescription from the vet.

I know a merchant that doesn't require prescription but only sells in 50 pack ($157), which is crazy since I only have two kittens.

Or if you bought it from a vet, how much do they usually charge? And can you buy it w/o the vet examining your cat? Because everytime I go, they charge me $50 just to see the animal for few seconds.

My sister has a short hair, small dog who has scratched his poor belly red and she couldn't get an appointment with the vet for four more days. Wondering if anyone has anything to help 'Hunter' until then. Thanks in advance!

I have a DSH (Domestic Short Hair) female. She is not spayed. We have a DLH (Domestic Long Hair) male cat who is neutered. When she is in heat, he does mate with her. Is she ripping out her fur in preparation for babies?

Also we think we have felt lumps in that area. Two on her lower belly in between the hips and pelvis region. (Or are those her ovaries?) And one at the base of her ribs.
