Cats skin is 10 times more sensative than a humans so becareful when using these dishsoap remedys. My recommendation is just keep them inside and wait til they are about 6-7 weeks old then buy frontline topspot or plus. It says 8 weeks on the box but 6-7 is fine as well. We used it on alot of stray cats in Korea....Good stuff.

First, Advantage cannot be used until 8 weeks of age, its on the back of the box. Any flea topical cannot be used until after 8 weeks of age. There is a pill called capstar that can be used at 4 weeks if the kittens are over two pounds, but they usually won't weigh that much yet. So get a flea comb and start combing. In a few weeks you'll be able to get something better.

Advantage can be used at 2 weeks of age
As well you can flea bathe the kitten as well, making sure to rince thoroughly.

when i got my kitten she was loaded with the larvae.. i used the mouse treatment.. i think it was hertz.. i bought it at walmart.. was 10$ if i remember correctly.. did the job.. if she is in contact with other kittens or cats you'll have to treat all of them.. believe me it spreads quickly and is a real pain to get out of carpet or furniture (fleas).. yuk.. bad memories..lol.. call the vet if you are unsure and ask the assistant.. they offer good advice for free!! good luck !!

Go to your local vet and ask them for something to put on kittens that young. They will either have something there or can recommend something for you to use.
