my son just bought a rottweiler puppy , I have some concern about whether or not its full blooded , it is jet black with no red or tan markings at all , to me it looks like a black lab with a docked tail, my son paid 400.00 for this pup and was told the papers are not ready yet , something doesnt seeem right to me

i am relocating to another state and i would like to take my kitty with me,i would be temporary residing at some one for about 3months or so, who is allergic to cats, how can i go about finding some one to take care of her,for the period. i really don't want to put her in a shelter for adoption or give her up. My dog is usually very good about obeying commands. The only time I have a problem with her is when she gets out of the fence or off her lease. She gets so excited that she usually runs right into the street before I can get her attention again. Then she will come back to me, but I know one of these days our luck is going to run out.

What did we ever do to you people? We just work hard to earn a living everywhere we go. Why do Americans like to poke stereotypical fun that Chinese men have small penises, that Chinese women only know how to say "me luv you long time", that all the Chinese look alike, that even if a Chinese person sings an English song perfectly then that is still a joke, that if Chinese people have slanted eyes then that's a bad thing, that a Chinese food delivery man delivering food should be jumped and killed, etc. etc., ad infinitum. i don't think the American parents try hard enough to teach their kids NOT to be racists, and in fact, may even instigate racism upon their young minds so that eventually you have a messed-up and chaotic country full of racism and bigotry. The shameful U.S. media is the biggest culprit in all this. My question still is: WTF did Chinese immigrants and Asian-Americans, in general, ever do to you Whites and Blacks, huh?

i want to breed my dog i want to know the age cause i thought it was at 8 months to a year cause if the older they are the harder labor they go through. my grandpa is going to help pay for everything cause he wants a puppy cause his just died for kindeys he paid for her to stay alive all the test they need to do and they vet said that is all we can do so i know he will help me and he LOVES DOGS so i wanted to know what age is best thanks

About 6 weeks ago, my friends cat had a litter of kittens (6) and one died at birth. About 2 weeks later, they (our friends) say the mother cat sat at the kitten and smothered it to death. Then a week, they say it happend again. Just this week, two of their kittens died because they said that the mother cat picked up the kitten with her teeth and that caused the kitten to die. Today another one died because my friends husband said that he had just come out of the shower and had a towel wraped around him and their older male cat was chasing a kitten and he took his paw (the older cat) and punchered (spelling) his throat and it caused the kitten to die. This man was in trouble for animal cruelty before and now I think he is responsible for killing these kittens. I called the animal control officer and he won't be in the office till monday, but I left a message. Did I do the right thing especially since these people are some what our friends and we live right next door?

I have done lots of research, but now that I have her I feel very excited. She is a 40 day old Chiwhawha. The seller told me that she had already begun eating soft dog treats and water by herself. He told me to give her a stuffed animal when she slept so she would not miss her mother.

Right now she is in a card board box that is a little over a foot tall and two feet wide. She has 5 blankets to use a a cusion. And a medium sized brown teddt bear. Is this okay????

What food should I offer her tommorow (she is sleeping right now)? Is water soaked kibble okay?
Is it normal for a 40 day old Chi not to be very active? She walks around but likes being held.
How ofter should it pee and poo?
The owner told me to bathe it, is it ok if I bathe it tommorow?
What else is important regarding my new dog? I have no other dogs right now. What else should I know?

Why do people abuse their animals or abandon them. I just don't understand why people can be so cruel. I've seen so many terrible cases and some don't even realize there's anything wrong? Why do they do this to these beautiful animals that only know pain and suffering.

I could really use some advice and helpful hints... My cat, Shadow, is now extremelly large, when not over a year ago he was a slim, very active cat.

I know that it hasn't helped that we have had to move 2 times in the past year and half. Nor does it help that he is now terrified of going outside without me (since last time he was in a bad fight that resulted in him having to make an emergency visit to the vet). I guess, also, that it doesn't help that I leave their food out for them 24/7...as I'm afraid that I'll forget to feed them.

I need to know what I can do to help him loss some of this weight (he looks like a pregnant cat about to have kittens)...any advice would be great. Tips would be wonderful. Help me help him lose some of this weight.

why do people always say that they loved Pitbulls till the one they had attacked for no reason or they knew someone who's dog attacked unprovoked.
I would like to hear from Dog breeders and Trainers that can explain to those out there that do not understand dogs and think they do how there were signs that they just missed and list the signs for those people.

He was apparently a drop-off stray on Saturday, July 1, and is very sweet and affectionate. He is approximately 8 wks old, black on top and white on the bottom. He also has a white streak on the right side of his nose and upper lip. He is vocal, purrs loudly, and is not afraid of cars (or pretty much anything else). He will be an inside only pet.

I already have a 3 yr old female chocolate cat with a white spot on her chest named Midnight Star (called Star). I want to be more creative with this kitten.

My 4-yr old must be able to pronounce the name easily. I am not interested in anything vulgar or rude; I just want some new ideas.
