When a pet is spayed (female) or neutered (male), there is little the owner needs to do except make sure the incision site is kept clean and does not become red or swollen. If that happens, it's wise to call your vet. With a spay, it is advisable to keep your little lady quiet when you bring her home and not let her rough house too much for a few days since she could pull out the stitches. Having the procedure done on a Friday is a good idea since you can have a few days off to be with her, but it's not absolutely necessary to take time off from work.

You have to think about separation anxiety. Do you have a mental health adviser, a spirituality seer or a maybe a friend who has a dog that is at home all day and needs company.

Think positive thoughts, take a yoga class, meditation, numerology, significant other training, or even rent a cat for a day.

Oh I know, join the Army or the Marine Corp. If you join the Marine Corp, tell the first office you see, that you, now, wish, you would have, joined the Army or Air Force.

I bet you are not worrying about the dog now!

Good luck, really.

Get the laser surgery and she will recover in a day or two with a lot less pain. Other kinds takes 3-5 days. Either way you don't really need to watch her as long as she stays indoors.

Er, NONE! Why would you?
Crate dog as usual & go on w/your lives. Check incision for signs of infection & remove sutures in about 10 days.

None if you do it on a Friday, and pick her up after work. That is assuming you have a Monday - Friday job, of course.

one day! she will come out of anethesia and be fine. just make sure she doesnt continuely lick the stitches. The vet will know if she will continue licking before she leaves the office.
