My female kitty is 8 months old and Ive had her since she was 6 weeks old. Shes a house cat (i live in a flat) and shes been spayed. Shes a lovely playful bundle of fun, she loves to purr! I was wondering whether I should get another kitten so she has a friend, and do you think I should get a girl or a boy?

I am taking riding lessons at a stable nearby. I'm doing English. I've been taking them for 3 months now and I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get good. We're just doing the same thing. Some times I get really discouraged. My family can't lease or buy a horse either. help!!

i have a rabbit and i am trying to find a good litter to put in his cage. I have been using cellsorb but after awhile it kinda stinks. i was wondering if anyone has used that Yestedays News stuff. I seen they actually make it for rabbits, but also wondering if the cat version would be just about the same stuff. It is cheaper and you get a bigger bag of it. Oh yeah, would it be safe for my hamster as well. I was thinking the unscented would be better, not knowing how the scented would affect them. Thanks for anyones help!

My fiance and I work different shifts. I work nights and he works days. We would like to have a great watch dog that can be inside. Playful yet protective. But at the same time not a dog that visitors would be terrified of. Any ideas?

My cat has been vomiting off and on for a few hours- about once an hour or so. It started as the typical 'mustardy' color, but now is more foamy and pinkish. I am worried this may be from bleeding, but I am not certain.

Over a period of time they have urinated on furniture, carpet and and tile floors. Does anyone have a solution to rid the odor other than getting rid of my pets?

My beagle is 2 yrs old and he eats wellness super 5 mix chicken flavor food. It is a high quality food that has fresh fruits and veggies, along with actual chicken (no by-products) as its main ingredients. It has no artificial preservatives either. My dog has been eating it for about a year. He has been checked for parasites, infections etc through both stool samples and blood, so he is otherwise healthy.

Turtles are not easy pets to take care of. They require extensive knowledge, money, time, and TONS of space!! They are horrible choices for children. They should NEVER be removed from the wild. If you don't know what to feed it, how to care for it, why it's sick, where to get one, why it died, etc.. then don't get or keep a turtle. If you can't afford outrageous vet bills, then either don't be an idiot and care properly for them, or don't keep them as pets. Surrender them to a local rescue and stay away from them! Regarding eggs, this is a lengthy response. You would be better off asking a skilled chelonian veterinarian, joining a Yahoo! group or another knowledgable organization. Does this cover it all?
