My cat has been vomiting off and on for a few hours- about once an hour or so. It started as the typical 'mustardy' color, but now is more foamy and pinkish. I am worried this may be from bleeding, but I am not certain.

Normally vomit without food included usually watery and slightly brownish, this is typical
When kitty is vomiting a yellow mustard colored fluid, this is stomach bile, kitty apparently hasn't eaten in a while because this is coming from his intestine.
If the foam seems a little pinkish could be there may be something going on a vet should investigate or kitties stomach may be irritated from all the vomiting, if kitty is on hard food, try giving him/her some wet food , canned chicken flavor is very mild on the stomach but only give in small portions so they don't overload. monitor closely and see what happens.

This may sound groose but if you can get your cat's vomit - put it in a baggie or tupperware & take it to your Vet's - he'll be able to tell whether there's blood in the vomit. Please do this if you care about your cat. I know it's expensive - but, you've got to be a responsible pet owner (which I'm sure you are) and treat your pet's as if they were your children. Hope this info helps. Good luck to you and your cat. I have a cat to and love it to death and would do anything to keep it healthy.

I would leave it up to the vet to determine if it is blood or not. The main thing is your cat is vomiting and not once but many times. You need to get your cat to the vet. If you have any other cats I would keep them separated. I hope your cat will be ok.

well just think what your cat ate and then if he did not eat anything red than it is blood.

It should be dark red, like almost brown.
