Thank-ya'll so much!!!! I took my dog to the vet and turns out that he had Pavo!!! Now I don't know how to feel!!! Should I be mad cause my parents made me wait 3 days before I got to take him to the vet or should I be sad???? The vets said that my dog will be ok, but I don't know what to do!!! I don't get to see my dog for a whole week, cause they will be treating him!!!

I bought my Golden a new stainless steel food and water bowl yesterday. He used to have 2 plastic ones, but I've gotten rid of those since they attract bacteria....so I've read. Now he just looks at his new ones and seems to actually be a bit scared of them. Why??

Our cat "buddy" has allergies. We take him to the vet once every two months. Our question is " where can we get cordisone tablet without paying a Vet bill. Or, is there such a thing?
Any answers are welcome, especially from cat owners, thanks

I'm looking for pictures of this dog (pekinese/pomeranian) because a friend of mine recently adopted a dog from the shelter and that's what they claim it is. We seem to think it is a Tibetan Spaniel, or a cross between a pekinese and poodle.

My girl kitty is Sweetie McSweeterson and has the cutest little meow, likes to sit on my lap, bumps her head up whenever you pet her, and is the cutest, softest lil poofball you'll ever meet. My boy is Bratty McBratterson who meows all the time, doesn't like to cuddle or sit on my lap, gets the most attention and is connected to my soul (we were meant to be together...). Anyway, he's just a brat! He beats up on his sister anytime she gets some love, gets what he wants, when he wants, tries to trip me when i'm walking, and follows me everywhere. He's jealous, i'm aware of that, but does he have to be such a butthole?!

My dog was having a hard time urinating. Also....diarrhea. I would take her for a walk, she would squat down and strain like crazy to pee. I took her to the vet, and she had numerous tests done. They even kept her in the hospital for 3 days, following x-rays. On the second day, the vet called and said they sent out cultures to check for cancer. She said that her and another vet did the test and saw cancer cells...claimed it was bladder cancer. Said it probably be best to put the dog to sleep, because she was dripping urine and may not even be able to pee at all soon. The next day she called up and said the tests came back negative! Needless to say, we were furious (after crying and trying to make a decision to put her to sleep the day before). We are going to another vet for another opinion, since the dog still has the same problems going on. Anyone know what this can be??? The dog is a Lhasa Apso, 12 years old, but still very spunky.....

My brother just brought his dog from Florida to live with us for a month while he helps his wife's parents fix up a house in Utah. My mom and I were cleaning a batch of fresh lettuce from our garden when I found a garden slug. I was just playing around but I said, "Here's Avery's (Avery is the dog's name) dinner!" and held it over her head. She jumped up and snatched it from me. She didn't spit it back out . . . does anyone else's dog do that??? I doubt it, but I'm feeling a little queasy. It was a pretty good-sized slug, and she chewed it up and swallowed it.

I am almost 15 years old and I have been going to dog shows my entire life. I had and English Setter that my dad hunted with, when I was little. Now I am looking for one to show (and to love)! I am really looking for a Tri-Colored. I live in Kansas and will be attending a few shows in the next couple of months.

I know it's impossible, but i'd love for you to share some answers. My cats ALWAYS sit in the windows and smudge them up with their noses and chase birds that fly by...it's hilarious! The funniest thing about them is...they don't like to go outside...they'd rather sit in the window and look outside.

I was just out walking in my backyard and there is a huge black snake out there. He didn't move when I walked near, but did't try and bite or strike either. I looked it up online, and I think it's a rat snake. I know they aren't poisonous, so should I just let him be? My dog has free run of the yard and I don't want him to get bitten, but the fact that this snake is back there catching mice is nice too...any suggestions?
