I don't think you can prevent him from crowing.
MAYBE you can ask a vet or see if someone or yourself can train him to stop. He might try to peck but if he's done crowing gently hold him and slightly flick his beak and tell him "No" after that he may get the idea that if he starts crowing he'll get a flick on the beak. Although he naturally stays quiet then no problwm but if your neighbors start to complain about him if he starts crowing then you may want to look for another source of help.

Sorry can't stop a rooster from doing what comes naturally. You can't keep it in the dark or tape it beak shut. The best thing to do would be to find a farm that wants him and take him there. He will be a lot happier and so will you

You can't keep it from crowing....it's in his nature. I suggest finding a nice petting farm for him to reside in if this is a concern and you still want him to have a nice home.

you could keep it where it cant see the sun so it may not crow till later or not at all that worked with ours but if it doesnt work with you, you can give it away or something oh well tah

You can't!! That's like keeping a cat from meowing, a horse from nickering, and dog from barking, a bird from chirping. It's their noise, you can't stop it, and I would think it would be cruel to try.
